Time out in Mittermurnthal - MODERN - MINIMALIST .... Guests at the Mittermurnthal holiday flat in the Upper Palatinate Forest Nature Park can expect an exciting setting of green parkland, industrial relics and minimalist design. The flat is surrounded by meadows and forests on the site of a former glass grinding and polishing works directly on the Schwarzach river in the wildly romantic Murnthal. The region used to be an important location for glass grinding, an industry that has long since died out. Today you can enjoy peace and nature here. Hikers, cyclists, anglers and nature lovers come here to enjoy their sporting activities. The listed property is a three-sided complex consisting of a residential building from 1913, a former glass warehouse and a former foreman's building. The 100 square metre holiday flat on the ground floor of the villa is accessed via a wooden staircase from the courtyard. The comfortable furnishings and the purist, straightforward interior design contrast with the morbid charm of the exterior. We have renovated a spacious, luxurious holiday flat for two people on the ground floor of the historic villa. The interior of the listed building has been furnished with modern design, while the exterior has retained its morbid charm.
