An ideal starting point for excursions into the Upper Bavarian Forest. The region is ideal for hiking, Nordic walking, cycling and golfing. A 2-minute walk (400 metres) takes you to Lake Eixendorf with various water sports and a small sandy beach - also ideal for fishing.

Leisure activities: If you like golf, then the neighbouring golf club (10-20% green fee reduction) offers ideal conditions: a versatile 18-hole course, a golf school with experienced pros and good training facilities, such as a driving range, putting and chipping area.

Wellness and leisure facilities can be found in the neighbouring 4-star Hotel Wutzschleife, which impresses with its Ayurveda treatments, swimming pool and Gregor's gourmet restaurant. Here you can leave everyday life behind you with massages and other wellness offers (for a fee).

Wellness fun is also on offer in the town of Waldmünchen (approx. 20 km).
