Great location, very atmospheric lanes and alleyways, an old house which has been renovated.
Close to all amenities, the village, port, beaches, supermarket, bakery.
Bedrooms and bathrooms very nice, kitchen area too small and difficult to cook in. Crockery and cutlery should be stored in kitchen area for easy use not in cabinets in the dining area.
Living area quite small for a large group of people.
The garden area was good .
The house was not as clean as expected, floor in kitchen/dining area not clean, a lot of dust under the bed in the downstairs bedroom. Open out of date food items were left in the kitchen storage when we arrived and one unused item best before 2021. These should not be there. As you charge âŹ180 for cleaning, I would expect a higher standard. Some light fittings were hanging from the ceiling in the ground floor bathroom and bedroom, these should be repaired. Please oil the door locks and hinges and label the keys properly.
For the cost of renting this house I would expect a much better, even a separate kitchen and a bigger living area. I have rented a number of houses in Ile de RĂ© and have got a higher standard for a lower cost. A welcome instruction manual is also essential when renting a house

Other than that we enjoyed our visit here. La Flotte is a very beautiful place.
