Pros:
The cabin was cozy, spacious, and clean, with a large living room. It had one room with two queen beds and another room with two single beds, which was great for our group. The kitchen and dining area were also clean and well-equipped.
Cons:
Thereâs no on-site laundry, but there are a few options nearby. The good review & clean laundromat is the Lakeside Market and laundry, about a 30-minute drive away.
We have the place to ourselves and thereâs a creek at the back that you can swim enjoying nature listening the sound of water rushing troughs and the bird chirping itâs very relaxing âŠ.
The cabin is nice with really good furniture, very clean. What I didnât like was not having a live TV, you can watch something like Utube but not a live TV
Accessibility to park and restaurants convenient.
The cabin was very tidy and clean inside. Cabin definitely needs some repairs to help keep the flying and crawling night insects out. A good sealing around wall AC and door frames is needed. Old windows in bedrooms. One window doesnât close all the way so flying little bugs come in through the screens.
First impressons matter and this place makes a heck of great one. My favorite part of this experience was the flawless communication process. I work in communications so I know that it sets a good foundation for any type of relationship; Pam was very nice and attentive, she answered ALL of my emails (whith the thousand questions I had) which was our first form of contact; once we had gotten to speaking on the phone, she answered all of my phone calls. I took a whole hour of her time (possibly more) to get the cabin booked. Pam informed me of the happenings around town and what to expect from my trip. When I mentioned to her I was going up there for my 3rd anniversity, she offered me 2 seats at a wine tasting dinner she was hosting.
Although my booking was very last minute, Pam did her best at making everything simple for me. I arrived at 4am and she had left the lights of the cabin on (so that I knew it was my cabbin) and a bottle of wine with a nice bouquet of flowers and a Happy Anniversary note. My husband loved the thought. That itself was enough for an awe moment.
The cabin was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. There were extra pillows, blankets, and towels. There is a tv and DVD player for entertaiment; i suggest you bring your own movies however. The kitchen is fully stocked (silverware and wine opener included) and there is a cute deck in the back with access to the river. I would suggest a screen door for the sliding door, however; we wanted to let the fresh air in but we didn't want the bugs to join us. The cabin does have AC anyway, so it was not a big deal.
All together, this was a wonderful experience. This was my first cabin rental and I loved it. I can't wait to spend another weekend in one of these cabins. Next time I am buying groceries.
One last thing, there is a basket of goodies left for the guests. Enjoy!
Cute cabin directly on Sierra Dr and across the street from Totem Market & Gifts. Driving back down to Village Market is probably a better idea if you need anything. Location is just minutes from the park entrance.
We are a family of 5: mom, dad and 3 boys (11, 11 and 15). We had the pleasure of staying in the Kaweah cabin. It was a perfect fit! The cabin was plenty big for all of us. It was updated and decorated smartly and cute. It was clean and in an ideal location to visit King's and Sequoia. The temperature in Three Rivers exceeded 100 degrees all the days we were there, but there is a small AC unit in every room that quickly cooled the cabin and made for a very nice retreat after exploring the parks all day. The cabin has all that is advertised. My only complaint was that we are asked to take out our trash and do the dishes each day, but were only given 1 extra trash bag and 1 dishwasher pod. Nonetheless, the BBQ was an added perk, the beds and living room were comfortable, and the cabin had all we needed. We would absolutely stay there again.
The Totem store and restaurant across the street has all you may have forgotten and the employees are so helpful and kind.
Checking in was a breeze because we were given a code to use well before we lost phone signal.
The property is very nice and clean. We are very satisfied and is in near proximity to Sequoia National Park entrance. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Well appointed inside, bathrooms were clean and fresh, and kitchen was well stocked!
This property is right on the road, so can be a bit noisy in the morning and evening.
The house in itself is beautiful. We were given the wrong code for the door so checking in was a little tricky. It was hard to get a hold of the owners due to our lack of phone service and not having the current WiFi password. Fortunately, the folks across the street at Totem Market were extremely helpful and were able to get us the correct code for the house. The owner gave us a free bottle of wine for the inconvenience!
The house was beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture and beds, fully equipped with linens, kitchen utensils, beautiful dishes, and CONVENIENT access to Sequoia NP. One of the rooms has glass shutters (not really a window) which made the room a bit warm, and let bugs into the room. I guess that's a part of being close to the outdoors is about. Although it was a slight nuisance we figured out to make the best of it.
Although it was a little tricky getting a hold of the owners, once we were able to reach them their response was prompt.
It was a pleasure staying in this home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would love to go back !
This was a lovely place to stay while visiting Sequoia. Literally 2 minutes outside the park entrance. This cabin has multiple rooms, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, nice dining area and spacious living room. The WIFI works great and the AC in each room was a nice luxury to have available. Thereâs a nice fire pit with table, chairs and an umbrella. Unfortunately we couldnât make use of that nice feature. The owner was very responsive, helpful, generous and kind. Should we come to Sequoua again, this is the place weâd pick to stay, hands down!
We stayed in the larger cabin three bedrooms two baths , there was plenty of space and comfort for us. The shower plumbing needs a little help , One shower twinkles on you the other shoots out like a firehose. There is a great barbecue grill or outside which the last night we barbecued steak and chicken. We had to eat outside because the kitchen table in the cabin was a little sketchy, it wobbled and we thought the lags of the table would break off. Be careful!! Maybe be its planned it that way, because being outside was absolutely wonderful, hearing the river nearby and the view of the mountains was breathtaking , apart from the bugs. This place was perfectly located, with the smal market, deli, restaurant/ BBQ and wine bar all-in-one across the street , and a great staff, was very convenient and a lot of fun for us. Down the road about a quarter of a mile was a Larger restaurant and lounge bar ( small music bands on weekends) .. we also enjoyed.
I would definitely return to these cabins.

This cabin was great for our needs. bathrooms were very clean. The cabin was very close to the national park entrance where we were visiting. The air conditioning helped keep things nice and cool. I would recommend staying there!
My family and I stayed in the Kaweah Cabin over the weekend and had an amazing time. The scenic views are breath taking to wake up to. The cabin had ample space for us as a group of six. It is a three bedroom with five beds total and tons of storage. Bedding, utensils, appliances, and television are included. My favorite part was the BBQ and fire pit that we enjoyed in the evening. Another bonus is that it has a fenced in area if you have a little one. It is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, wine tasting and a convenient store.
Some minor repairs were needed on the first day during our stay but overall all the cabin was a comfortable place to be. The owners Greg and Pam were very friendly. Highly recommended!
