Magnifique condo bord de mer à Pointe West! GONE LITTORAL dispose de deux chambres et deux salles de bains. Cette résidence de vacances est l'endroit idéal pour profiter de vos vacances Pointe West. Il est situé sur le premier niveau qui vous permet de profiter facilement de la vue magnifique sur le front de mer de la salle à manger ou un espace ouvert dans ce condo de plan d'étage.
Une cuisine bien équipée, il est facile de préparer un dîner et divertir les invités dans le même temps. Les chambres comprennent une chambre lit king-size et une deuxième chambre avec une couchette superposée sur King. Un matelas Queen auto-gonflable est également fourni.

Notre villa est à quelques pas du Beach Club privé où vous pouvez profiter de toutes les commodités offertes, y compris une terrasse de 20 000 pieds carrés, une piscine à débordement, un bain à remous, un bassin pour enfants, des cabanes, des barbecues, un centre de remise en forme et un restaurant.

Wonderful property, pools very clean and not overcrowded. Comfortable and well maintained condo unit provided awesome views of the gulf. It was the perfect place to spend time with the grandkids.

Wonderful location to just enjoy the beach. Great accommodations, comfortable beds, wonderful balcony. Easy chair and canopy rentals. Would highly recommend if you dont want to be right in the center of everything and have a nice relaxing time.

2023 Winter Trip

Condo was very well equipped and had e erything we needed to spend our month in Galveston. We had great views of the gulf and spent a lot of time out on the balcony.

Very nice condo. Good communication with host. Only complaint is the floors in the condo are freezing. Bring slippers with hard bottoms if you rent this condo. Nice view from balcony.

Fantastic Beach Front Property

We wanted a quick get away as a family for a few days at the beach.. We could not have had a more perfect experience. The condo was beautiful and clean and faced the beach. The beaches were clean and not crowded and we had a great time. We look forward to coming again..

Great condo! We really enjoyed our stay. The listing was exactly as described. It was very clean and well maintained. The view was wonderful. The beach is very clean and was not packed at all. The kids enjoyed the pool at the beach club. We would definitely stay again!

Short stay

The property location was as advertised. We had direct access to the beach over a short walk on a property walkway. We had everything we needed in the unit. However, there was construction in our building right outside our door. We opened the door to go to the beach and the workmen were literally steps from our door. We had no access to the garage and had construction while in the unit.

Very nicely appointed, clean, had everything we needed. Just wish they would do the fogger truck for mosquitos like we used to have when I was a kid. They were terrible this time.

Quiet

The condo was well stock with everything you need in a kitchen. The beds were comfortable, and it was very clean. Great location if you are looking for low key. I traveled with 2 9 year olds and a 15 year old. They had activities at the club house, a beach and several pools, so they were happy. It was nice that you could also rent bikes and golf cart. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful vacay

It was very nice. We had a great time. So close to the ocean and away from everything. The resort pools were amazing! Just a few minor things…The Keurig K-cup machine did not work. The top bunk bed had sand either in the mattress or on the sheets. We felt sand. Condo smelled a little musty.

Beautiful Property

We really enjoyed our stay. We were in the quiet part of the complex. The condo was everything that it was advertised to be. However, the young ladies in the office were less than helpful. It was like pulling teeth to get anything from them. Seemed like they couldn’t be bothered to give out information.

Great Getaway!

We have stayed numerous times on the West side of Galveston, but this was our first time to go all the way to Pointe West. We loved it!!! The resort was a perfect place to relax. We found the condo to be exactly how it was pictured and described. The communication with the management company was superb. It was very quiet and the location to the boardwalk over to the beach was perfect. As noted, the elevator worked on the first day but not on the subsequent days but the flight of stairs were easy to manage. We also enjoyed the wonderful views of the beach from both inside the condo and the balcony. We look forward to another stay in the near future.

The sunrise is my favorite! We are sorry that during your stay the elevator was out of service. Unfortunately, mechanical defaults and needed repairs occur without warning and we do realize it is an inconvenience. By law, all repairs, inspections and part replacements must be done by a certified elevator company. Community Management arranged for service and repair as quickly as possible. 2014 Getaway

Overall it was a nice unit for our family of four. However, the master bedroom is a good 10 degrees warmer than the living area so the first night was quite uncomfortable sleeping. We had to crank down the air, prop open the door and put a lightweight blanket on the bed that we found in the closet. My girls (21 & 15) commented that the bunk bed in their room was squeaky and shaky when you moved around on it. I'd also suggest providing some instruction for the 4 remotes for the tv/VCR. We rented a movie and it took us 15 mins to figure out how to make it work. The view was perfect and the surrounding guests were quiet which is always a plus.

Dear Kay, We strive to make all of our guests feel relaxed and at home. We employ a staff that is available to reply to any issues as we know they will occasionally occur. Sorry for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. Had we known that you were having trouble with the AC and sleeping on a squeaky bed, we would have sent someone out immediately. Should you decide to visit us again, please don't hesitate to call us anytime during your stay with any issues you may be having. Also, we agree about the remote controls and will provide a guide for our future guests soon.

Holiday Disappointment

I suppose we should have guessed that this was not what we expected when we were greeted by bugs at the entrance. The Primary Bedroom has a bed that needs replacing. The two inch layer of foam kept sliding off which didn't provide a restful nights sleep. The kitchen dishwasher worked but it was not attached to the cabinetry so every time someone opened it up, it fell forward. The Primary Bathroom also needed some TLC. The deck and view of the beach were excellent. As a retired executive in the Hotel industry, I can see great potential. However, as with all properties, its all in the details in order to deliver a great experience. This visit was disappointing.

Thank you Mark for your review, we always value guest feedback. First, we are thrilled that you enjoyed the amazing views from the spacious private deck that Gone Coastal offers. Some of the best views to be honest on the island. I would like to address some of the other concerns you brought up. Our units are sprayed regular basis. With the cooler tempartures and being in a coastal area sometimes "pests" from the outside do try and seek shelter. The pest control company has already been by for an additional treatment. This is the first negative feedback we have had on the bedding; in fact the topper is enjoyed by alot of our clients and we have them in most of our units. Had we had known we could have had the topper removed. Thank you for letting us know about the dishwasher; that was fixed by maintenance promptly. It is our goal at Pointe West Vacation to correct any maintenance issue as quickly as possible. Also, it is important to note that this unit has 79 reviews and 68 are 5 stars and 8 are 4 stars . Great Stay

The pictures on the website is a true vision of what to expect in the condo. Beds were very comfortable . The unit was very clean. A perfect stay for a mini vacation for four adults. There was only one issue that we encountered. The elevator did not work during our entire stay. Yes, it is true we were on the second floor. However, it was inconvenient to get your luggage, and grocery items up to the 2nd floor. Our group had one person that was not totally able to get up & down stairs easily. The elevator situation was documented in the information section of your agreement. However, I feel the elevator has been out for a long period of time. It is my understanding that the part for the elevator is on backorder. In my opinion I feel that this information should have been communicated to the person renting the unit. A lot of the issues we encountered could have been avoided. Another visitor lost control of his luggage on the stairs and came falling down the stairs and almost hit one of our guests. Overall I would recommend the elevator issue be resolved quickly or have a contingency plan for the elevator problem.

Gone Coastal is beautifully appointed unit and offers front row Beachfront views, from the private, spacious balcony. It doesn't get any more serene than this. We are sorry you encountered an issue with the elevator during your visit. Unfortunately, mechanical issues do happen from time to time, which are outside of anyone's control. Occasionally, based on the repair, parts have to be ordered and shipped in. Galveston is a small island community. We do note on our website and advise guests prior to renting that we are unable to guarantee services such as this. I do want to address that that this was not an ongoing or prior known issue. We receive weekly property updates on community services and in review there were no reported issues, parts on order, etc in the days leading up to and including your arrival date. Well appointed condo, great space but needs new mattress though

Pros: The condo and furnishings had all that we needed and then some. The view was great and the beach very private. The owners were very communicative throughout the entire process and seemed to take pride in helping ensure a nice stay. The size of the condo is great. Cons: The king size bed was very comfortable but the other full size bed and twin were very uncomfortable. I highly recommend those mattresses be changed to have a good night's sleep. There were exposed wires poking out of an outlet in a large closet that was concerning with 2 small children. The balcony chairs are old, rusty and in comfortable which lessens the enjoyment of sitting out there for the fabulous view. I was hoping there would be more restaurant options within closer driving distance but we always drove into town to eat. It became more expensive at stores the further toward the condo complex. It would've been nice to know that the swimming pool at the complex charges $10 per person to use their facilities. I thought this was included. The storage locker needs some tending to-it seemed like a catch all for all old/used beach items. We stopped using it because the options were less than ideal. Overall, I would recommend staying here. A few tweaks would make this condo awesome!

Glad to hear you would “Overall, recommend staying here”. We do take great pride in preparing an enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. Feedback from our guests is a vital part of our business and we love to hear the positive (of course), but also benefit from the negative remarks. There were issues listed that are not in our control such as proximity to restaurants and beach club fees which are clearly stated on our VRBO listing. Pointe West is on the west end of the island and is secluded which adds to its charm and draw to people looking to relax and get away from all the hustle and bustle. There is a restaurant on site, The Pointe, and we also provide a stocked kitchen and grill on the patio! Also, there are gas grills located by the pools and charcoal grills on property at various locations. On the patio, we recently added 2 new high back chairs with a table and will replace the other two chairs in question. The mattresses in the 2nd bedroom are less than 2 years old and we have not had any other complaints regarding them. It is probably a matter of taste. Firm vs soft, etc... As for the exposed wires in the Master closet, we would have had someone out to fix it ASAP if we were made aware of this. We would never want any of our guests in harms way. It was an old inactive alarm system and it is scheduled to be removed this week and never posed any threat. We manage 8 properties and our guests are usually thrilled not to have to purchase and travel with beach chairs, umbrellas, etc…. Guest will sometimes leave items behind in the locker not wanting to tote them home and for future guests to use. We do our best to keep them clean, organized, and replenished when needed, but it is the beach and exposure to harsh elements is inevitable. I would encourage our prospective future guest to read all the reviews and see that Gone Coastal is an awesome condo!

Overall, the unit was in good condition. We had a few issues during our stay, but they were resolved in a reasonable amount of time.

Best view

Super clean and nice, rental was set up perfect with everything we needed. Great view and both the beach access and parking is the best location on the whole property

Wuiet and relaxing

The condo was great! No complaints. Location was great! Only wish we would have is for there to be a few restaurants on that part of the island. The restaurant at the beach club closed after Halloween. Two restaurants had gone out if business and one pub restaurant was not ready for business. We had to drive a lot to eat at a restaurant. Take out would be fine but pizza was the only choice available nearby. We brought things and we were able to go to a Krogers to stock up on some things. Just did not want to do a lot of cooking. So the condo was great but hope the area develops just a little but not too much.

Galveston stay

This is a very nice property with lots of room. We enjoyed going to the beach and swimming in the pools. I would definitely go back.
