Séjournez dans l'une des villas les plus belles et les plus luxueuses du lac Atitlan! Propriété privée et isolée au bord de l'eau avec une vue spectaculaire sur trois volcans mais à seulement dix minutes à pied du village animé de San Marcos. Les installations comprennent la seule piscine chauffée disponible sur le marché de la location ainsi que des jardins botaniques luxuriants, une terrasse spacieuse au bord de l'eau et une jetée privée avec échelle de natation, un grand bain à remous avec cheminée extérieure adjacente et un coin salon, plusieurs terrasses et trois étages de vérandas de vie spacieuses donnant sur le lac et s'étendant sur toute la longueur de la maison. La maison elle-même est très bien aménagée avec de belles antiquités guatémaltèques et des exemples remarquables de céramiques locales, de textiles, d'artisanat et une collection d'art exceptionnelle, y compris des œuvres de Palma, Guillermo et Maldonado parmi d'autres. Les serviettes moelleuses abondent et les draps à nombre de fils élevé complètent les matelas de haute qualité, plusieurs oreillers et les draps fins. Wifi dans toute la maison et s'étendant sur les terrasses et les piscines, satellite DIRECTV avec stations américaines et une cuisine entièrement équipée (et nous entendons "entièrement" y compris les épices et de nombreux condiments), et deux fois par semaine le nettoyage de la maison avec des services de blanchisserie en option disponibles complètent le commodités de la maison. ET nous offrons des SERVICES CONCIERGES complets - des transferts depuis et vers l'aéroport de Guatemala City ou d'Antigua et de la maison, des services de chef, des services d'achat de produits alimentaires, des massages sur place, des cours de langue sur place, une location de bateau quotidienne privée et la réservation d'une variété de activités autour du lac allant de l'escalade de volcans à l'équitation en passant par le parapente. Nous ne sommes peut-être pas l'alternative la moins chère autour du lac, mais il y a une raison à cela. Cette maison a tout et est conçue pour la détente et le confort. Pourquoi pas le meilleur?

Beautiful oasis

House was truly amazing. Beautiful lakes side villa, with pool, hot tub, secret gardens and patios. The house feels warm and loved, with very kind caretakers always present to assist. Good host.Don’t hesitate to book. 110% recommended.

magical view

this was the most beautiful and comforting villa we have ever experienced. A rare view of lake Atitlan. The property is immaculate, the staff is overly accommodating fun and friendly, the artwork and placement of all is spectacular! The gardens are brilliant! The perfect retreat & reunion for 3 elderly women...loved by all!!

WONDERFUL

This property is absolutely stunning. Excellent location, gorgeous pool hot tub, incredibly helpful staff around the property and a wonderful trip! Aaron was SO HELPFUL in arranging our transportation to and from the airport and around the lake. He also helped arrange our groceries prior to arrival and was nothing but wonderful to work with!

Heaven on the lake

Blaine and Stephanie’s home on the lake is just beautiful ! We enjoyed our short stay with family for three nights. House had all the needed utensils and amenities where you didn’t feel like you needed to leave. Although the town is a short tuk tuk ride up the hill and has some cute bakeries and places to eat. Overall a great stay and they help organize excursions and rides too ! Elisio was fantastic host

Amazing property

Breathtaking views from the villa! Wonderfully appointed and decorated with lovely antiques and art. The only disappointment was last minute notice that the chef services we requested were not available so it was difficult to get food to the house for 7 people — nearest full grocery is in Pana and since it was new years restaurants were booked or closed. The on site caretakers (Edgar, Elisio, and Mariano) were amazing! …So kind and helpful. Edgar’s wife even made us homemade tamales for New Year’s Eve in leu of the chef. We are very grateful for that gesture! We took great tours through WE Travel (Domingo is the best guide ever) and the ATV tour through Simoon via viator was awesome. Would definitely return to this property

Perfect for group trips!

Great home base for our group of 6 friends who were looking to explore, unwind and have a good time together! We stayed for 5 days and found ourselves choosing to stay on the property cooking together in the well-equipped kitchen our lounging by the pool. I personally enjoyed the access to kayaks to go on morning trips around the Lake. Really appreciated the attention from the property manager and on-site concierges—they were excellent! Highly recommend this place if you’re coming in a large group, there’s fun around for everyone of all ages .

Beautiful stay

Blaine's house is absolute oasis. We loved hanging out in the heated pool and hot tub and Aaron helped arrange for private transfers all around Lake Atitlan which we loved exploring. San Marcos is the closest town and has limited restaurants/shopping. I would recommend stocking up on groceries in Panajachel before coming to the house... would love to get to stay here again!

Had an amazing weekend getaway with the family in this hidden gem in Guatemala. The house is beautiful and the scenery is exceptional. The groundskeepers are great guys, Jose and Edgar made us feel right at home. We would go back in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed our stay! Edgar the concierge was very attentive and helpful. The house is enormous for the four of us and the grounds, Polk and hot tube are just beautiful! The only negative is the dogs barking all night.

The property was amazing!! The views, the house, the lake, and the temperatures along with the Guatemalan people make for a trip to die for. I will definitely be back someday. My kids loved it as well. The most beautiful lake you will ever see surrounded by three volcanoes and 7 Mayan villages accessible by public boat on a daily basis.

Amazing girls trip!!

This beautiful property checked off all of the boxes for a recent girls trip. The grounds of the home are jaw dropping and the home itself is gorgeous. We felt very safe at all times, thanks to Emilio and Edgard. We had a lovely experience. I highly recommend.

Magical lake experience

Spectacular views, fabulous home and tranquil gardens. We found ourselves waking up with the first signs of light. No sleeping in because every moment was an experience we wanted to savor. Definitely want to visit again.

Most amazing place!!!!

Wow!!! This place was incredible. The views!!! It was the most perfect location with the most perfect views of the lake and volcanoes. The staff on property were soooo attentive and amazing. The house was so perfect and had everything we needed. Aaron setup all of our transport, tours, chef, and everything. He was incredible always checking in and making sure everything was going great. If you are planning on visiting the lake, I recommend staying here 100%!!! We cannot wait to be back!!!!

Nice, but..

The propertywas very nice. The views were beautiful. The caretaker was very helpful. Unfortunately, neighborhood dogs barked half the night and there was a lot of road noise (bedrooms are adjacent to road). I recommend the property, but bring your earplugs for sleeping.

5 Star review! The villa on Lake Atitlan is in an excellent location, just minutes from the small bohemian town of San Marcos La Laguna. Although this was our second visit to the Lake and the Villa Casa Blanco, we still discovered hidden gems on the property and the lake. The property grounds are spectacular! The landscape includes, but is not limited to Palms, Amaryllis, Heliconias, Bougainvillea, Bananas, Mangos, and numerous other blooming vines. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked leaving nothing overlooked. The pictures on the site of the property, although beautiful, do not come close to showing how fabulous the villa is in person! What more could a guest want. Our stay was made incredible by both the owner and concierge! Booking and interactions with the homeowner Blaine were easy. Aaron, the lake concierge went above and beyond to help all the excursions around the lake. The onsite staff (Eliseo, Edgar) were very attentive to our needs from going into town and getting medication for stomach illness we had, to arranging rides to town, getting Kayaks out for us, and communicating the schedules of the villa support staff. Highly recommend the villa for a tropical retreat.

One word: Paradise

This place was amazing. My family were impressed and the view is breath-taking. My wife loved the garden and scenery, my kids loved the pool and the adults loved the jacuzzi after the activities that we purchased in one of the the nearby towns. You can kayak or walk up to the nearby town which is San Marcos. The three housekeepers (morning, evening and weekend) were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the cleaning lady Veronica. She did not clean the house to our expectation, sometimes our beds were not made and towels were not replaced. But overall the property was the best that we have ever stayed at.

Peace of mind

We really enjoyed the property. The view of the Lake is spectacular & breathtakingly beautiful. Well worth the money. Saying this there are a few things you should know which are of nature. First dogs bark on and off all night, the birds are loud and are chirping at 4:30, 5am, and then around 6am you will hear work trucks loudly going past the property near the master bedroom which is on the top floor near the road. Also, people let these firecrackers go randomly without fire, they are loud and quite obnoxious (not owners fault) .If you can get past this, worth the money and view... Just giving a head's up.. All in all we had a lovely stay visiting our daughter in the peace corps... thank you

Beautiful Getaway

Blaine's place was absolutely stunning! The house was decorated with antiques and artwork from Guatemala. The beds were comfortable and the view was spectacular! The staff working at the property were friendly and very helpful, so was the property manager. It was a quick 10 minute walk to town. We really enjoyed our meal at the Restaurant Fe in town. There were a couple of downsides to this property. The traffic on the road behind the house was quite loud at times in the master suite. The levels of this house are only connected by outside walkways. We all felt very safe, but the only way for my children to lock their rooms at night was to use the room key. Which also meant to get out of their room in the morning, they needed to use the key. This could pose more of a difficulty if you have small children. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Repeat Trip is a Must!

Perfect in all ways! All the amenities we needed, including very comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, beautiful views, proximity to fun San Marcos and all the concierge services you would need for a complete vacation. The whole staff was especially helpful for navigating a foreign country. Aaron the property manager was most responsive via WhatsApp. He arranged all of our transportation needs and answered any question we had. We were able to have a private boat take us wherever we needed which was nice to avoid the boat taxi procedure. Edgar, who lives on the property with his adorable family was over-the-top helpful and most friendly and spoke English very well. He helped us arrange our own driver for the Tuk Tuk ride to San Marcos for dinner. He made excellent restaurant recommendations, and we even met the owner of Restaurant Fe who quickly became my husband's new best friend! We utilized Carmen, an amazing chef for breakfast on 2 of the mornings. She prepared delicious traditional choices and was very timely according to our needs. My only regret is that we didn't stay long enough.

Family Christmas at Lake Atitlan

Our stay was nothing short of AMAZING! The house is a dream - beautiful, spacious, and clean! Booking was easy and the homeowner was very timely in responding to questions...I had a lot. He also had a great contact for all our transportation in Guatemala, Ruben was outstanding! Aaron, the concierge went above and beyond to help arrange excursions, chef, and even worked on Christmas day to find a contact for wave runners to be delivered to our dock! Aaron even called after our departure from the house to confirm we connected with our ride back to Antigua. The chef was incredible, I highly recommend utilizing the chef not only for great food, but to add to the relaxation! I woke in the morning to the smell of coffee and breakfast being prepared. The onsite staff (Eliseo, Edgar, Jose) were very attentive to our needs, warming hot tub, starting fires, arranging rides to town, and communicating their schedules. The grounds are impeccable! The walk to town is short, but hilly, a great morning workout. It was easy to get to town for groceries, great restaurants, and the kids loved the bakery and gelato. Experiencing Christmas in San Marcos was a thrill from mass at the Catholic church to the fireworks around lake. It was indescribable! We always felt safe and well taken care of! We will definitely visit again, I want to bring everyone I know and share this whole experience and exquisite property!

Unbelievably beautiful! Gorgeous! Perfect! Peaceful! Amazing!

Listen up! Have you always dreamed of a mansion on the lake? Facing three beautiful volcanoes? Surrounded by lush green jungle? And also tiny villages where the indigenous people are artisans and sell you the most beautiful of art, crafts, woodwork, food? Then this is the house of your dreams. There is no detail that has been forgotten. I don't know who decorated but it is done with the most impeccable of taste. From the covers on the bed to the colors of the furniture, the art work is unbelievable. Blaine has found a way to feature the best of Guatemala in one house. He used only local artisans to design and make everything in this house and he put the comforts of home in every room. Showers are nice and warm! Very safe place with Camaras installed. Every room has a view. A private heated pool is amazing. Edgar is sweet and kind and trustworthy. Veronica is sweet and beautiful and also very loyal and trustworthy. You will be in heaven. I love you Blaine for featuring the best of the land where I was born and making me feel at home. I can tell you treat everyone who works for you with kindness. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We will miss it.

Relaxing Paradise

This property was absolutely beautiful! It's tucked in a little cove and just walking up from the boat you are greeted with beautiful lush gardens and colorful flowers. The pool view was amazing! I literally took the same picture every morning at breakfast because the view was breathtaking! The kids were in the pool as soon as they woke up every morning. The decor in the house is authentic and beautiful. Beds super comfortable! We had Carmen and Veronica cook authentic meals for us which were absolutely amazing. They are both so kind and have beautiful souls. The house guys were amazing for helping us get boat transportation and give us good ideas on activities we should do. They were always available to answer any questions we had. The boat transportation was always the same guy and he was great with us and gave us lots of good information. The local dogs were friendly and sweet. You could hear dogs barking in the neighboring properties but it wasn't a problem. The walk from the property to town was about 10 min and it was a good workout but not a big deal at all. You could also take the tuk tuk if available. We had fires in the fireplace every night and soaked in the hot tub It was a perfect stay. My only suggestion would possibly to have some fans available. At night it sometimes was hot. We will definitely come back for a visit but just relax at the house most of the time because it has everything you could want in a relaxing vacation!
