Le bungalow de Idyllwild est décoré dans le style de l'époque des arts et métiers. Nous aimons l'appeler 'la cabine STICKLEY', d'après le célèbre fabricant des arts et de meubles de style artisanal.
Il est dans la section fougère vallée de Idyllwild, ce qui signifie qu'il est très agréable, proche de la ville tout en se sentant miles.
La grande cour signifie que vous vous sentirez un véritable sentiment d'intimité et de sérénité.
Appropriée pour 1 ou 2 couples. Chaleureux, accueillant, calme. Une chambre, une grande salle de bain, une cheminée, deux grandes terrasses, et un chien. Il y a une salle de bonus avec un lit pliant.
Nous avons un lecteur CD / disque / bande, un dock iPod, jeux et livres. Lorsque nous louons, nous fournissons également «le manuel du locataire 'un avec des informations supplémentaires sur la cabine, le quartier, et les activités locales. Nous ajoutons toujours à ce manuel pour le rendre aussi informatif et utile que possible.

Extraordinary Arts & Crafts Bungalow

What an extraordinary find this home was for us! This bungalow is stylishly appointed with Stickley furniture and Deco/Nouveau decor. Yet with all the historic glamour, this home is simultaneously cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is well outfitted for home cooking. Truly appreciated that it is dog friendly. This was the perfect relaxing getaway for my husband and I and our little dog. It really does look as beautiful as the photos online! Such a treat!

A Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

This property is tucked away in the forest against the scenic mountainside just outside of Idyllwild. With plenty of activities in walking distance or just a short drive away, this was the perfect spot to experience the town and hike in the area. We particularly loved the record player with an eclectic mix of tunes to relax and recharge to. The host, Ed, was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Amazing weekend getaway.

Great cabin in a beautiful area!

We LOVED this place. The attention to detail on all of the furniture, art, walls, etc was amazing. It was a beautiful blend of mid-century decor with classic antiquity. I got lost in all of the beautiful photography books while chilling on the deck and watching the sunset with my partner. VERY dog friendly and the host was responsive.

Beautiful house

We rented this house for a long weekend to enjoy some mountain hiking. The house is beautiful and fit our family of four, plus dog, very nicely. The furnishings are beautiful and interesting. I couldn't give the rental 5 stars due to arriving to find the house had not been cleaned since the previous guests and the bed still had the used bedding on it. I couldn't reach the property owner that evening to get it resolved so we had to clean the bathroom and change the sheets ourselves. My number one requirement when choosing a rental is "clean" so this was quite disappointing to us. If it had been cleaned properly, I would have given 5 stars. The owner did get my messages and had it cleaned the next morning and did not charge us cleaning fee in order to rectify the issue.

Beautiful! I wish we could move in.

This was our first VRBO experience and it was lovely. Everything about this home was exactly what we needed. I so appreciated the Craftsman style features throughout the entire cabin and all of the period pieces. It felt like we were experiencing the home of a family friend. Thank you!

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

We have stayed here numerous times and it is always lovely. The owner keeps up the home and grounds meticulously. The kitchen is well-stocked and the cabin is close to the town amenities as well. A great experience every time!

Peaceful Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend stay! The house was clean and comfortable, with so many charming details. Communication with the host, Ed, was always pleasant, and check-in was seamless and easy. Definitely hope to return for another stay in the future!

Edward’s place was even more perfect than the pictures led on! It’s a lovely, cozy, and beautifully designed sanctuary in the woods with lots of privacy, space and extra amenities that made our stay ideal! Would absolutely stay again!

"JUST LEAVE...OKAY"

Terrible experience & rude host! This cabin was filthy, dirty dishes, no clean sheets or towels, bugs in the kitchen, bed unmade & broken futon in Bonus room, with no streaming services working & lose arm railing. The worst was the detoriating deck which was a total safety hazard. I contacted Ed immediately to inform him of these concerns and his response "just leave! No apology, no refund, and nowhere to go on a Holiday weekend!! We were so upset. His response was so disrespectful & rude, when we were trying to get help & asking for cleaning services. Contacted VRBO to make a complaint and property should be closed until further inspections by the City and Fire Dept. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Wooded respite

It's always a pleasure to stay here. The property is immaculate and the furnishings are lovely. It's quiet and beautiful. The amenities are wonderful; this is the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO I've ever been in. One truly feels at home here.

Charming Bungalow

This is our third stay at Ed’s Bungalow, and we were lucky enough to see beautiful springtime snow fall. The central fireplace and gorgeous lighting kept us and our dog warm and cozy. The neighborhood is quiet and close to town. A perfect getaway. Thanks Ed!

Cozy and quaint

We really enjoyed this cozy and quaint cabin. It snowed both days we were there and it was absolutely stunning. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you need and the host is very communicative and welcoming. We had an amazing time and will be back.

Spring snowy wonderland

My husband and I decided to stay the weekend at this cabin and OMG it was just wonderful, not only was it a magical stay, it wasn’t too far off the main road towards town. The place is so cozy and warm. And far enough from neighbors to feel secluded enough. It’s a beautiful little time capsule of a cabin. I’d say only con is the bed, mattress is a bit springy and my husband and I are very tall, so it’s definitely just a personal preference thing. Ed was extremely communicative, and very friendly. As well as had everything we could need to know written out thoughtfully in his messages pre-check in as well as in the cabins little handbook. It made figuring everything out very easy. Overall we 100% will be staying here again next time we go to Idyllwild. I can’t imagine wanting to be anywhere else.

Relaxing Vacation in Idyllwild

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was clean, in a great location, the kitchen was extremely well stocked, and the property manager was very communicative and extremely quick to reply. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

Great Stay!

Beautiful cabin in close proximity to all the great trails. We snowshoed Ernie Maxwell and it was phenomenal! Cabin is well stocked with everything you need to cook your meals. Wifi was solid. Loved the nostalgic decor throughout. Ed, our host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Great stay!

I am psychologists who loves to travel. I came during my childhood to Idyllwild. I didn't return as an adult until 2013....I was concerned the village might not be as magical as I recalled, and was happy to find that it was still a unique community! I love that the town is very friendly. It has something for everyone: Art, film, and music festivals; hiking trails both easy and challenging; rock climbing; and close to the Pacific Coast Trail.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I have an apartment in Buenos Aires that Ill be renting to travelers on VRBO. It is great to have a property closer to home and that I can share with travelers. After looking at several cabins, this one was an instantaneous 'yes!'. The cabin (vintage 1940s) was charming, the yard was large and flat, the neighborhood was lovely yet convenient to town, and the views of the mountains were amazing! Over the past decade I've done several upgrades - most importantly, forced air heating, a new bedroom in the style of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and another deck.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

There is a classic arts and crafts vintage feel of the home, and have thoroughly enjoyed adding 'arts and crafts' period furnishings and arts from both California and the United Kingdom. These include stickley style furniture, period artwork, vintage jadeite; and period light fixtures. The unique details make this one of a kind as a place to get away to.
