Villa Rosa is an elegant and charming 2 bedroom villa set in a property (Quinta) with its own matured gardens and private pool and panoramic views over Vale Formoso Valley snd Tavira .

There is also a shaded covered terrace (pergola) around the house and the pool area is all covered in the traditional Portuguese Calçada. Square Stone cobblers.
The orange or other exotic trees (such as mangos) avocados , pomegranates, figs , almonds , apple s, prunes , percimons, lemons , mulberry, Etc . etc , are within reach when in season , to make lovely fresh juice whenever you feel like drinking it. The surroundings are natural beauty and the perfect place to get away for seclusion and privacy. To discover the nature or the surroundings, a nice walk to a lovely church, Senhora da Saude, or it is great to walk along Rio Gilão ( or Sequa) if you are a good walker you can discover the unspoiled countryside where you will find small waterfalls and ponds. The local flora its abundant with majestic and sometimes many centuries old such trees as carob or olive trees . Almond trees- they look dry , during the Summer, to blossom with delicate white flowers between January and end of March - or with the very vibrant colors of the orange trees and bougainvilleas everywhere. Enjoy a holiday with comfort and the feel of perfect luxury at this Villa at about 5 /10 minutes drive to Tavira. or 35 minutes to Faro airport, 1,30 h to Seville, 2 hours to Lisbon .

If inclined to use the leisure time to see all the movies that you always wanted to see or to read while relaxing by the pool in sun chairs or under the generous shade of olive and carob tree .

Villa Rosa is very cosy and comfortable to come during the Winter or Spring season.

Open Fire.place in the living/room and with air conditioning units for heating in the house the villa will be warm and cosy even on chilly Winter nights.

First of all to confirm that the stay I had at Villa Rosa together with my childhood friend the two last weeks of April this year just confirmed the positive impression I had previously had of the house, the surroundings and the charming town of Tavira itself!!
The peace and quietness of the house, the handy proximity to Tavira and the endless possibilities of activities on the Algarve Coast makes Villa Rosa an ideal vacation spot!! It was really one of the best vacations I have had in a long time!!
