This 3-bedroom, 2-bath Deersville home is a 2-minute drive to Tappan Lake Park for swimming, boating, and fishing, and close to a Buckeye Trail trailhead if you want a hike. After a day on the water, grill on the deck, cook in the large kitchen, put on a movie, or walk down for homemade ice cream at Deersville General Store and end the night around the bonfire. Located in Deersville, this quaint mobile home offers a serene retreat for guests. With three bedrooms, including two queen beds and two twin beds, there’s plenty of space to relax and unwind. Two full bathrooms add convenience for families or groups traveling together. The interior stays comfortable year-round, making it easy to settle in no matter the season.

Our driveway is a bit steep but there is room to park along the road if needed. Snow removal is not available at this property and the roads are not cleared quickly during snowy weather.

We've stayed here twice before, and every time it exceeds expectations.The location is perfect for a "Muskingum watershed fishing trip", it's basically right next to Tappan Lake, and Clendening Lake, and Piedmont Lake is a short 20-ish minute drive away.... Then, after a "hard day" of fishing, after you park your boat in the public parking lot directly across the street, you can take a short walk to the Deersville General Store and get some ice cream!The host was very communicative and helpful, we'll be staying here again!!!

We had a marvelous stay at the Tappan Lake camping home. It was clean and spacious. The photos do not do it justice. The yard and outdoor space were a bonus complete with patio lights, large deck, and picnic table, perfect for relaxing with a good book. Central to everything, the kids loved walking to the General Store for homemade ice cream. Deersville is so charming and the perfect home base while enjoying Tappan Lake.

We had a great stay while we were in the area. We found the host to be very informative and easy to communicate with and the property was very comfortable and clean. It was nice to have a full kitchen so we could cook our own meals rather than eat out all the time.

A nice place to stay in the Tappan region

Overall, it was a nice place to stay. Due to the weather, I wasn't able to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities, but the experience was good overall. Well supplied kitchen, nice bedding, and overall great place to stay.

This place is great! The kitchen had small appliances we forgot to bring (like a crock pot etc.), the 'back porch' is an ideal hangout spot! Tons of room inside, and two bathrooms!There's a general store about a block and a half away, and they carry pretty much anything you'd want.And of course, they're pet friendly!

The rooms were very clean. The property was pet friendly and are lab golden cross thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend for anyone that have children. It was well equipped with movies and entertainment for children. Heather was wonderful and had it nicely decorated for Christmas so we could enjoy our holiday with our family.

Buckeye/North Country Trail & paddling

The place was super cute inside and just 0.3 miles from the Buckeye Trail! Also conveniently located to the nearby lakes. Would recommend to other hikers and paddlers and looking to book again when I return to tackle more if the North Country/Buckeye Trail.

Loved the General Store; so fun. Lightening hit a tree near by so able to see the local Volunteer Fire Dept Wow what a great bunch Dedicated n focused.

Nice place to stay.

Excellent accommodation. Found out later that my great grand parents were married in Deersville! Just happened to pick this place out of the blue. Friendly people at the general store. I’ll be back.

The pictures were deceiving. No recliner in living room,no table with umbrella on the deck. Sofas were very low. Garbage come Friday morning instead of Saturday morning. Raccoon constantly getting into garbage receptacle. No handrail on deck steps.

I’m sorry you were unhappy with your stay. We did replace the old furniture recently, however the pictures reflect the 2 loveseats we have, and there is no umbrella on the deck or hand rail for the 1 stair. I’m not sure where you saw photos of that existing. We have a small town trash pick up, not a large company, so if their schedule was changed, we had no knowledge of that, sorry for the inconvenience that caused you. Thanks for your stay.

Comfy and clean!

Location was perfect for my friends and I as we bow hunt in the Tappan Lake area. Location is a minute walk from the the towns general store. Home was clean, cozy and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Heather was very responsive!
