Work trip

I rented this home while in Redmond for a work trip. There was plenty of room for all of my staff and not to far from the Deschutes County Fairgrounds. Kitchen well stocked with dishes and pots and pans.It is a beautiful home.

Wonderful house

This house fit all our needs and was large enough that our group of 8 never felt cramped Only complaint is that everyone in the group is required to have a pass to access pool/spa sports center and owner only supplies 6 for a house that accommodates 12, so we had to pay an additional 25. Per day for each additional person and owner had advised me that additional passes would be available at sports center in my name but this was not done per the manager

4-H spring classic visit

This house was perfect for what we needed. The host was very flexible, allowing early check-in and late check-out which was really helpful for us. Very pleasant neighborhood, quiet, and conveniently located. We can highly recommend this house and host.

This is our second time staying here. Wonderful property for our large group of 10 women. Perfect layout, plenty of room, great location. Owners are awesome communicators & very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

Great for family get together

The house was large enough for our annual Christmas family celebration. All enjoyed the space with the house’s 5 bedrooms large living room and entertainment in the garage. Beautiful view of sunrise and wildlife.

Roomy house perfect for us

We are 5 retired men on a buddy's golf week. The 5 bedrooms were just what we needed. The spacious house, wi-fi, and all appliances in working order made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We especially enjoyed lounging on the porch and taking in the serene view and sounds.

Mom’s Retreat 2024

This was our 3rd time at this house. 10 ladies stayed this year. Great house for large groups. Very clean home & comfortable beds. Large dining table we all could sit around for meals or playing cards as well as comfy couches in the living room. Host is awesome! Quick responses & information is helpful.

Family Vacation Week

The place was big and the deck had a great view plus the pool and ping pong tables in the garage were great for the kids. It would have been nice to know we had to provide our own paper towels, DW soap, and hand soap, as all that ran out after two days.

Beautiful area with great views out the back deck.

Our stay was great. There was confusion on using the pool and how many people could use it and what the price was. we thought it was $10 it was actually $25 per person way too pricy after paying good money for house. Bedrooms were clean as well as bathrooms and Kitchen. Pictures of all the bedrooms would also be helpful.

Large spacious home

Very spacious comfortable home. We enjoyed our time and would stay again. Well stocked kitchen. Furniture is a little outdated and the patio cushions could be replaced.We just put a towel over them. One slight problem - there were a lot of ants on the stove. We left a note for the cleaners.

Multi-sport vacation

This was a great location to enjoy climbing at Smith Rock and skiing at Mt. Bachelor. It was close enough to be convenient and the neighborhood was quiet, clean and safe. The property was in pretty good condition. There were some things that could have been improved. There were old fixes to the walls that needed to still be painted so they were still basically dry wall. Also, it would have been nice if there was shampoo and bath soap. The kitchen was adequately equipped however, the pans were a bit cheap and could use some updating to match what the house and neighborhood project. The beds were comfortable and spacious. One thing to note was that the floors could have been mopped a bit better, but they were not super dirty. Overall, we were all pleased with the stay.

Redmond golf get away

Flew into Redmond and arrived a couple hours before 4 PM check in time Called the host a couple times. No response finally reached the host shortly before 4 PM and he remotely opened the property. When we arrived on site, the house had not been cleaned. The host explained that there was a mixup with the cleaning person. I actually met the cleaning person and she confirmed it. However, I was surprised that the host didn’t provide any considerations for us having to wait until 7 PM to enter the property Ironically, when we finally entered the property, we noticed that there were signs throughout the property about making sure to clean all the dishes, strip the beds and start the first load of wash squeegee the showers normally this stuff would be OK if I was visiting a friend or family member I thought it was a little bit over the top for a commercial transaction I just didn’t have a good time. I’ll return to Redmond, but I won’t return to this property.

Spacious and Comfortable -Very Nice

We enjoyed our stay. The listing is accurate and the house is spacious and very much like home. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. For large groups or multiple family units this 5 bedroom 3 bath house is AWESOME. My grandkids loved the deer that frequent the backyard of the home. We would give the home by itself 5 stars. Our overall 4 star rating is due to a few factors. #1- We were given a key by the manager that did NOT fit any of the locks to the house...it fit the linen closet. So, we just used the garage as our entrance/exit. #2-When we went to put a bag of garbage into the garbage receptacle...it was crammed full from previous occupants, and full of maggots...it hadn’t been dumped in a while. To us, this is a house manager issue, which is why we gave the managers 2 stars. These 2 factors did not in any way deter from us having a great time in the home. My family truly enjoyed the spacious and comfort of this home. We just can’t give it 5 stars.

Pleasant stay

Beautiful view of wildlife and scenery Refrigerator froze fresh veggies and fruit in the bin. Broken or weak shelving in refrigerator. Useable but broken pool table and ping pong table. Broken floor tile in room off kitchen. Shoes are a must. Entry instructions on Vrbo was not clear so had difficulty but owner responded quickly. Battery operated keyless entry had dead batteries but remedied quickly by owner. Home needs a little tlc with exterior paint and bedding and several beds. For the price per night I expected a little more in condition of the overall amenities. Great flow to the floor plan. My first use of renting a home for short stay. On Vrbo it showed home was 7.5 miles from our main Purpose being there… a wedding at a resort. The wedding venue turned out to be 40 minute drive. Which we had to make multiple times. The 7.5 miles is as a crow flys, not actual driving. For rest and relaxation only, I would stay there again.

We are the McClure Family. We live in Santa Rosa which is in Northern California. Jason is the owner of M&Co. a general contracting company and Amy cares for our teenage kids and assists with company administration. We are able to get to our home is Eagle Crest a couple times a year.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I built this house in 2001 when we lived in Gresham. Our intent for the house was to use it as a small retreat / getaway, however we ended up moving to Hawaii in 2002 and then to Northern California in 2005. We kept the house because we have family still in Gresham and we like to get away to visit and relax. Eagle Crest is a great place for kids with lots of fun activity.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The best thing about the house is the relaxing, restful atmosphere. Letting the kids explore in a safe environment and having the option to head to the pool or spray park to play some more.
