The open-concept great room welcomes you with soaring vaulted ceilings, warm wood finishes, a beautiful floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and walls of windows showcasing the incredible mountain scenery. Dog-Friendly Accommodations

We know a Smoky Mountain vacation is even better when your dog can come along. **A Walk in the Clouds welcomes up to two dogs with a $125 pet fee.**

Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and keeping them supervised during the stay. Dogs should not be left unattended unless safely crated. Please keep dogs off the beds and furniture and be mindful of neighboring cabins and other guests throughout the resort.

CABINS IN THE CLOUDS – RENTAL AGREEMENT
Property: A Walk in the Clouds
By signing this agreement, the primary guest acknowledges and agrees to the rental terms below for this reservation.
1. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in is after 4:00 PM Eastern Time. Check-out is by 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
2. NON-SMOKING PROPERTY
Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Smoking is permitted outside/on designated deck areas when applicable. Cigarette butts must be properly disposed of.
If smoking occurs inside the property and additional cleaning or remediation is required, the guest may be charged a $250 remediation fee.
3. MINIMUM AGE
The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and must occupy the property during the reservation. We do not rent to vacationing students or groups under age 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
4. PAYMENT
For direct reservations, a 50% deposit is required to reserve the property, with the remaining balance due 30 days before arrival unless otherwise agreed in writing. A three-payment plan may be available for reservations made more than 60 days before arrival.
Scheduled payments for direct reservations will be automatically charged to the payment method on file on the applicable due date unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
Reservations made through Airbnb, Vrbo, or another third-party booking platform are subject to the payment schedule, payment-processing procedures, and terms established for that reservation through the applicable platform.
5. CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
For direct reservations, cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date are eligible for a refund in accordance with the cancellation terms applicable to the reservation. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival, shortened stays, and early departures are not eligible for a refund unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Reservations made through Airbnb, Vrbo, or another third-party booking platform are subject to the cancellation and refund policy shown and accepted when the reservation was made through that platform.
6. PROPERTY CONDITIONS AND PROBLEMS DURING THE STAY
Guests should notify Cabins in the Clouds promptly of any maintenance, cleanliness, pest, amenity, or other property-related concern so that we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address the issue during the stay.
Leaving the property early does not automatically entitle the guest to a refund. Any refund or compensation will be determined according to the applicable cancellation policy, booking-platform rules, circumstances of the issue, and any written agreement between Cabins in the Clouds and the guest.
7. QUIET HOURS
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM. Guests must respect neighboring properties and community rules. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination of the stay when permitted by applicable rules and policies.
8. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
Maximum occupancy at A Walk in the Clouds is six (6) guests. Sleeping accommodations include two king beds and a sleeper sofa. Occupancy limits may not be exceeded without prior written approval from Cabins in the Clouds.
9. MINIMUM STAY
A Walk in the Clouds generally requires a two-night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may apply during holidays, special events, peak periods, or other designated dates. The minimum stay applicable to the reservation is established at the time of booking.
10. LINENS / HOUSEKEEPING / CHECK-OUT
Linens and bath towels are provided. Daily housekeeping is not included. Towels and linens may not be removed from the property. Guests are encouraged to bring separate towels for hot tub or pool use.
At departure, guests are asked to place dishes in the dishwasher and dispose of trash in the designated bear-resistant trash container. Excessive cleaning, damage, missing items, or conditions requiring cleaning beyond normal turnover may result in additional charges when permitted by the booking agreement or platform.
11. PETS
A Walk in the Clouds is a PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY. A non-refundable $125 pet fee covers up to two (2) dogs. More than two dogs require prior written approval and may be subject to additional fees or conditions.
All dogs must be disclosed as part of the reservation. Guests are responsible for their pets and for cleaning up after them, both inside the property and outdoors. Dogs should not be allowed on furniture or bedding and should not be left unattended for extended periods. Crating is recommended when a dog must be left alone.
Guests are responsible for pet-related damage, excessive cleaning, stains, odors, or other costs resulting from their pets.
Bringing an unauthorized or undisclosed pet to the property may result in a $250
