Cottage Style House in Milwaukee’s Bay View Neighborhood – 1 Block from the Lake

This cottage style house in Milwaukee’s historic Bay View neighborhood is a perfect place to make your home base while visiting city.

We are located 5 miles south of downtown and the Summerfest Grounds. South Shore beach and beer garden on the lake are within walking distance. There is on-site parking for 2 cars with plenty of street space available. Bus routes are within walking distance. You will find plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and bars just around the corner.

This home has 2 private bedrooms. The first has a queen bed, small smart TV and closet. The second has a full bed and closet. The rec room also has a sofa that breaks down to 1 queen size sleeping space or 2 twin spaces. Linens and pillows are provided for all beds and sleeping areas
The rec room on the lower level has a cozy seating area with adjustable coffee table, large smart TV, loads of games and a dedicated workspace. You will also have the use of a full-size washing machine and dryer located in the utility room on the lower level. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided.

A full kitchen is located on the first level. Appliances, pots/pans, dishes, cutlery and glasses/cups are provided. A variety of spices, olive oil, coffee and tea are there for your use and enjoyment. There is a grocery store .9 miles away so you can easily stock the kitchen as you see fit for your stay.

A full bathroom on the first level. Towels, a hair dryer, shampoo and soap are provided. If you forget your toothbrush we’ve got one for you!

The large yard provides a great space to hang out and eat a meal. You will find cozy yard furniture, a dining area and small gas grill just outside the back door. A fire pit with accessories to get the fire started is also out back. Bags (cornhole) and a supersized Jenga are there too. There is plenty of room to play!

A Pack-in-Play and highchair are stored in the dining area closet.
