This is a really solid spot to getaway for a little R&R. Easy to get to, nice and private. Super cute and cozy and had everything you need so you don't have to pack a bunch of stuff. The whole place was clean and maintained well. I wish we could have stayed a little longer. Nice spot for a couples trip or even solo. Nice having firewood provided on site. Would recommend and also return.

This is a cute little one room cabin. The perfect stay for a couple. We loved taking the kayaks out on the lake. It was so peaceful. We had everything we needed for our 3-night stay, even the firewood was provided so of course we made s’mores.

We had the most wonderful stay at Sweet Pea Cabin. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. We kayaked on the lake, saw loons, enjoyed the birds, made s’mores by the fire, and visited the Park Rapids farmer’s market. Every moment felt easy and joyful.Thank you for sharing this special place with us. We truly enjoyed our time here.

Fantastic stay!

Perfect cabin for two people who want to explore the greater Park Rapids area!. Lots of privacy in the well appointed cozy cabin, lake access and a great list of restaurants and things to do in the area prepared by the hosts.

This place is excellent for couples - young, old and young at heart (us being the third group). The highlight for me and my husband was the privacy as well as the dock and the lake and being able to jump/dive into the water. No one was around as we hooped and hollered jumping into the lake in our birthday suits followed by warming up around the campfire. for those that are not big on swimming, the lake is beautiful to kayak or canoe around. It is a long slim lake with a few turns, that even with it being a very windy day, the lake was calm. The cabin itself was absolutely adorable. It reminded me of the best tiny houses that you see on netflix. Small and perfectly efficient with everything one needs plus more as well as very clean. Dan, the host, is very quick in communication and finding the place as well as entering the place was very easy. Thank you for an amazingly fun adventure. We will definitely be back!

Such a cute, but tiny little cabin. We enjoyed our stay there and had everything we needed. I would recommend this cabin to all my friends and family.

Amazing property

Beautiful cozy moderately secluded spot. plenty of firewood and kayaks made it easy to take advantage of the outdoors. HIGHLY recommend you stay as long as you can if you love being outside all day and sleeping in a cozy cabin at night :)

A Delightful Stay

The cottage is perfectly suited to a couple's getaway, and the property is all about peace and quiet. Even when the weather was less than ideal, we relished the chance to catch up on our reading while enjoying coffee on the porch. The small lake is scenic and quiet, and this retired pair enjoyed using the kayak. We enjoyed the visit and would definitely come back.

Check-in was very easy. Host was quick with responding, and friendly. Kitchen was great! Everything you could need fully stocked, very nice grill and stove. Microwave, coffee maker and full fridge and freezer. We didn’t eat out at all because of how great the kitchen was. We had the best time here and would definitely come back!

Peaceful and charming

Very clean and cute cabin. Peaceful and quiet location. Had a nice time in nearby Park Rapids, as well as sitting on the dock and enjoying the loons and having a nice fire. Host had great communication. Cabin has everything you need including firewood and a s’mores kit was nice touch.

Perfect

Everything was just as described. The kayak was a great included extra. Cabin stayed nice and cozy even though it was cool outside. Felt very secluded but close enough to town if needed.

A little slice of heaven…

Simple but beautiful one room cabin with the basic creature comforts. The lake was peaceful and perfect for casting a line from the dock. Loons & swans, spotted from the dock. Enjoyed a nice campfire and the night sounds. Extremely comfortable bed!

Absolutely amazing! If you want peace and quiet this is the place to be! The cabin is so cute and comfy, the kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs. Very clean and bed was comfortable. The yard is very well kept, with a small garden which you can pick veggies from. We loved sitting out on the porch playing cards and having a beer! Walked down to the lake every day and fed the sunfish off the dock, we even went and bought nightcrawlers to give them! We saw the loon 2 of the days we were there. We had a campfire every night with free wood they supply. Everything was exceptional, beyond our dreams! Would highly recommend this cabin, hope to go back again!

Sad to be leaving!

This place is perfection. If waking up, smelling the sweet sappy pine smell and sitting on the porch of an authentic cabin with a hot cup of coffee while listening to the sheer silence and sounds of nature is for you, then book now! The hosts were fantastic to work with, perfect amount of communication. Gave us suggestions on things to do which we took advantage of, but the property was the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed the perfect cleanliness not only of indoors but every outdoor space, having everything we needed, the canoe and constant fishing on the lake, and the just right amount of a remote setting. What an absolute gem this place is. If you want to reach a state of perfect relaxation while being taken care of in every way just rent it now. These hosts have customer service down pat and they'll make you wish you lived there!

Cute space, appointed with love, very comfortable bed. Small sitting area, adorable kitchen - everything you need if you want to do serious cooking/clean and new. Has towels and kitchen towels. Bathroom/shower is also new. Rustic appearance with modern conveniences. Good air conditioner. Lake looks small but its an optical illusion caused by a spit of land to the left. It is actually quite a respectable size - takes an hour to kiyak around the lake (2 kiyaks and a canoe are provided). Secluded but not isolated. Propterties around the lake are recessed from the shore and barely visible. We were basically alone in the lake on most occasions - once we saw a few people on a boat fishing. Swim/tube/kiyak. 18 minute drive to Park Rapids, shopping and the Heartland Bike Trailhead. People who own and operate the property are really nice and very easy to work with.

Booked this place for weekend as a surprise for my wife, stay was between our 6yr wedding anniversary and her Birthday. The pictures online while accurate, do not do it the justice it deserves!! Absolutely amazing and we loved it!! Was our ideal and picturesque place to stay and just relax. Brought all of our meals with, had no reason to go anywhere, but that was our intent. The host is wonderful, provides ample info for things to do in the area should adventure be in your plans. Cabin, property and all included were in excellent condition. We are already planning another trip here at a different time of year to see it in a different season. Love it, Highly recommend for a couple
