I want to start off saying the host was excellent in responding to every concern I had. The building was difficult to access with the code because of the digital keypad not always working. The parking situation was not clearly described in the listing so there was some confusion where we could park at the location. Once inside the building it appeared to be nice, but yet on the floor near the condo itself, there were some areas that were a bit rundown. The access to the condo itself was easy and well secured, but once inside the property, there was a strong odor of cigarette smoke, which appears to be coming from adjacent condos. This could be due to a central air-conditioning unit inside the building. This is no fault to the host, but it is something that should be considered if you have smoke sensitivities. The property has a stunning view, but unfortunately, the windows were very dirty on the outside, which gave an overall feeling of uncleanliness concerning the building itself. I believe if this condo was in a different building itself, it would have a much better feeling. The host has done a wonderful job decorating making sure everything is presented that you would need for an overnight stay and is exceptionally clean inside the condo.

Thank you for your feedback and for recognizing our responsiveness, the cleanliness of the condo, its beautiful view, and the care we put into making the unit comfortable and well equipped for our guests. We would, however, like to clarify a few points for future guests reading this review. Detailed building access and parking instructions are provided prior to check-in, and when you experienced difficulty upon arrival, we responded immediately and personally explained the access process again to assist you. Regarding the cigarette odor mentioned, we take our strict non-smoking policy very seriously. We personally inspected the condo shortly before your arrival and did not detect any cigarette or smoke odor inside the unit. We have also never received this concern from previous guests. As you mentioned in your review, if an odor was present, it may have originated from an area outside the condo or elsewhere in the building, which unfortunately is beyond our direct control. We also appreciate that you clearly acknowledged that the condo itself was exceptionally clean and that the concerns regarding exterior windows and certain common areas relate to building maintenance rather than the privately owned unit. We always welcome constructive feedback and will continue doing everything within our control to provide a clean, comfortable, well-maintained property and excellent communication to every guest. We only wish that the overall assessment had more closely reflected the aspects of the stay and property that are actually within our responsibility as hosts.
