Welcome to Rustic Roots Ranch! We’re Greg and Ashley Aiello, longtime members of the Templeton community, and we’re excited to share a little piece of our family ranch with you.

We raised our four children on this property, surrounded by animals, open space, and the simple joys of ranch life. From a young age, our kids helped care for the animals, collect eggs, and learn the responsibility that comes with living alongside livestock. Although three of our children are now grown, they’re still often here helping tend to the animals, so you may see our family around the ranch during your stay.

For us, Rustic Roots Ranch is about more than a place to sleep—it’s about experiencing a little bit of country life. Wake up in the morning to the peaceful sounds of the ranch, step outside with your coffee, collect fresh eggs, and take some time to visit with the animals. Depending on the season, you may see our dogs, chickens, horses, or other farm animals going about their day. Kids especially enjoy getting a glimpse into what it’s like to care for animals and live on a working family property.

Ashley is a school nurse, and Greg is a builder, and together we’ve created a place that reflects the things we value most: family, hard work, animals, and community.

Whether you’re exploring Templeton and the Central Coast or simply staying close to home and enjoying the animals, we hope Rustic Roots Ranch feels like a place where you can relax, make memories, and experience something a little different.

Rustic Roots Ranch isn’t located in a traditional neighborhood—it’s tucked into the beautiful rolling hills of the Templeton countryside, surrounded by the vineyards and open landscapes of the Paso Robles wine country.

We chose this property because of the peaceful rural setting and the feeling of space and privacy it provides. Here, you can leave the hustle and bustle behind and enjoy wide-open views, fresh air, wildlife, and the natural beauty of the Central Coast.

At the same time, we’re close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer, from local wineries, restaurants, and charming small towns to outdoor activities and the many attractions of the Paso Robles wine region. It’s the best of both worlds—a peaceful farm getaway where you can slow down and reconnect with nature, while still being just a short drive from the excitement of wine country.
