Nestled just 30 minutes from Traverse City, our home features beautiful partial views of Fife Lake, a peaceful pond with a bubbling fountain, and serene woods on surrounding the house. Enjoy a drink or meal on the upper and/or lower deck while listening to the fountain in the pond! It is a truly welcoming retreat where guests absolutely love to stay!

BOATER'S PARADISE FOR CHERRY FESTIVAL - Avoid the chaotic Traverse City boat traffic! Our home is located just 1/8 mile from the public Fife Lake boat launch.
Bring your boat! Plenty of room for watercraft with an extra-long second driveway to park your trailer securely.

The secondary driveway offers flat parking space specifically designed to easily fit large boat trailer, jet ski trailer, or snowmobile rigs. Launch your boat in minutes and park the trailer hassle-free right at home! During the 4th of July, take your boat out on the lake to view our spectacular fireworks! (Please note: You must use the DNR boat launch across the lake on the 4th, as our closest entrance closes for fireworks setup). There is also a wonderful engaging boat parade on the 4th that people love to watch, alongside festival festivities all week, including a local car show!

HIKING THE NORTH COUNTRY TRAIL: Our house is located very close to the famous North Country National Scenic Trail, making it effortless to get back into nature. The trail is located just one mile down the road directly behind the house. Just look for and follow the distinct blue sign posts! (Look up "North Country Trail" for more information).

The Space & Layout -
One suite downstairs w/living room area, queen bed and full bath and kitchenette, complete with dishes and appliances. Two bedrooms upstairs featuring a Queen bed and one Full bed. One of the two upstairs bedrooms includes a quaint bistro on a private, small balcony to enjoy the morning sun and lake. Vaulted Mahogany Ceiling upstaris with open ceilings and ceiling fans creating a spacious, and airy loft-like retreat. This beautiful open-concept design keeps the upper floor feeling connected and in the woods. While the rooms have separate privacy doors and a half bath, please note that the beautiful open vaults allow sound to travel easily between the two upper bedrooms. It is an absolutely perfect, high-end setup for families traveling with children or teens who love a classic, airy lake house atmosphere.

Bathrooms: 2.5 bathrooms, fully stocked with fresh towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryers for your convenience.Indoor Comforts: Stay comfortable year-round with central heating and AC window units. The downstairs suite is private with its own entrance, but accessible inside the house, too, with its own entry door to the upstairs, complete with a mini kitchenette and full bath.

A wall of windows floods the home with natural light and lets you take in the gorgeous outdoor scenery.

Outdoor Living & Firepit: Enjoy two spacious decks. The upper deck is surrounded by built-in benches, perfect for grilling and outdoor dining, along with a table and chairs. We feature a dedicated firepit area for guests, fully stocked with plenty of firewood, several pokers, and everything you need for cozy evenings under the stars. You can also listen to the soothing sounds of our backyard pond and fountain day or night, and spot friendly frogs sunning on the rocks!

Parking & Trails: Stroll across our quaint wooden bridge over a short trail to the second driveway. The short driveway at the house is perfect for everyday cars, while the secondary driveway offers ample extra space to park your boats or trailers.

Lake & River Adventures - Included - we provide two kayaks, a paddleboat for two, a canoe, a paddleboard, and two inner tubes at your disposal! Explore beautiful Fife Lake, kayak or paddleboard around its private islands and famous sandbar, and keep an eye out for the local Bald Eagles and their island nest. You can also easily float the nearby Manistee River using a two-car staging setup (one at the launch, one at the exit).

The Local Area - the charming Village of Fife Lake is just minutes away and offers great local amenities. For dinner, head over to the Fife Lake Inn, which features a beautiful outdoor patio area illuminated with lights, or grab a great burger at the Upper Bar. After dinner, walk down to the incredibly popular local ice cream shop for a sweet treat and enjoy their outdoor seating. They have a food menu, too.

A local grocery store, hardware store and convenience store are also nearby for all your supplies.

IMPORTANT PROPERTY NOTES & HOUSE POLICIES (*Please Read Before Booking*) We love hosting respectful guests! Please review our property policies and architectural layout to ensure our home is a perfect match for your stay:

Unique Upstairs Layout: The upstairs bedrooms feature a beautiful, open-ceiling architectural design which sound travels freely between the rooms and the upstairs half-bath.

Guest Group Flexibility: This home layout works wonderfully for families (e.g., one couple utilizing the private downstairs suite, teens or older kids upstairs OR one couple in the suite and one couple with their children sharing the upstairs bedrooms. **Small children must be actively supervised with the upstairs balcony and upper decks and pond.

Groups of up to 6 adults are absolutely welcome as long as everyone in your party is comfortable with the unique layout and limited sound privacy upstairs and primary renter will be held responsible for all guests. One family would be great, too!

Strict Occupancy Limit: Under no circumstances do we allow more guests on the property than the exact number explicitly listed on your booking reservation. No outside day visitors, unauthorized gatherings, or events are permitted

*Child Safety & Strict Supervision Required: A pond and fountain are located on the property grounds, an upstairs bedroom features an outdoor balcony, along with the upper decks. Because these features pose potential fall and water hazards, all children must be directly and actively supervised by an adult at all times when using the balcony or playing outside.

Watercraft Waiver & Safety: Guests are fully responsible for the care and transport of the provided watercraft and responsible for their own injuries and safety. A signed liability waiver is strictly required before using any equipment. We provide three lifejackets (two universal adult sizes and one XXL). Please note that Fife Lake law strictly requires lifejackets to be on board the watercraft at all times.

Fife Lake Noise Ordinance: Our home is located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. In strict compliance with the Fife Lake Township noise ordinance, quiet hours are enforced from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily. No loud outdoor music, fireworks, or shouting are permitted during these times.
