Location:

Perched amidst the charming streets of Rezzonico, Villa al Castello offers an authentic glimpse into Lake Como's rich heritage. Tranquility reigns supreme, with the village shielded from the main road by a tunnel, preserving its serene ambiance. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by the village's historic castle, convenient parking facilities, and a picturesque pedestrian lane leading to the villa's doorstep.

As you stroll along the cobbled stone lane towards the villa, anticipation builds for the enchanting experience that awaits. Stepping inside, guests are immediately enveloped in the villa's timeless charm, with original floor tiles and traditional Italian design elements setting the stage for a memorable stay.

The villa:

The spacious living area, adjacent to the entrance, is adorned in soothing hues that perfectly complement the awe-inspiring views visible through each window. Equipped with modern conveniences such as a smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a Bose sound system, the living room provides the ultimate entertainment experience.

Adjacent to the living space, the dining area offers ample seating both indoors and on the expansive terrace, allowing guests to dine al fresco while soaking in the magnificent vistas spanning from the northern reaches of Lake Como to its central expanse. Accessible from the living room, dining area, and kitchen, the terrace serves as a versatile outdoor space ideal for enjoying meals or hosting gatherings. Complete with a semi-professional gas BBQ and outdoor lounge, it sets the stage for memorable moments under the open sky.

The fully equipped kitchen caters to culinary enthusiasts, providing all the essentials for preparing authentic Italian meals. Guests can also opt for the services of an in-house chef to elevate their dining experience.

Bedrooms:

The villa comprises four official bedrooms, along with a spacious loft that serves as an ideal retreat for children. Each bedroom is thoughtfully named and designed to provide a unique and memorable experience for guests:

NOBILTA', the only bedroom on the ground floor, it has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with large walk in shower. This is a good option for someone who has issues with stairs and prefers to stay on one floor only.

CIELO, the first bedroom that you reach on the second floor, has a noticeable aura to it, with wood beam ceiling, original features and furnishings, lake views and an en-suite bathroom tucked away to the back of the bedroom with a large walk in shower.

DESIDERIO, the second bedroom on the second floor with triple aspect windows, very bright and airy, it is considered the Master bedroom with a 4-poster bed that offers a romantic atmosphere. The en-suite bathroom has a large walk in shower and a lake view!

MONTAGNA, the third bedroom on the second floor, overlooks the mountains and the garden of the Rezzonico Castle. It offers a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with walk in shower.

There are two baby cots available that can be put in any of the three bedrooms on the second floor.

On this floor is also a lovely balcony with a lake view, that also over looks the Castle gardens and the little lane that leads you to the Borgo where the villa is located, enjoy a glass of wine in the late afternoon sun as this is the last spot to receive at the end of the day!

Going up to the attic floor, you will be overwhelmed with the amazing original features that have been saved and renovated and lovingly brought back to a life, original wood floors and beams, small windows but with amazing views, a sleeping are and a playing area offer the perfect place for children to play, pass the time, play games and relax. There are 4 single beds of full size and one smaller bed, slightly shorter, for the youngest! There is a small en-suite with a toilet and sink for the children to use.

The garden:

The villa is complemented by a private garden situated below its terrace, adding an extra dimension to its outdoor space. This secluded oasis unfolds across multiple levels, presenting a Mediterranean haven adorned with Oleander, Lavandula, and Palm trees.
