Great Lakes Yurt Camp: Kingfisher Yurt

Welcome to the Kingfisher Yurt at Great Lakes Yurt Camp in beautiful Paradise Michigan. This off the grid 16 foot yurt has two views of the Shelldrake river and is perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts to escape from it all.
Lots to do locally with Tehquamenon falls 35 minutes away, 30 minutes to whitefish point and 20 minutes to the town of Paradise down a sandy 4.7 mile two track. 4 wheel drive required!
This experience is rustic with no power, water or heat. There is an outhouse

The space
The yurt has premium camp mattresses on three beds. A bunk bed with two twins and a double size bed. Bring your own bedding. They can sleep 4 people but could accommodate more upon request.

Guest access
This yurt is located on 10 acres with 2 other yurts located nearby. 4wd is required to access. There is an outhouse just down the road between the yurts and the shared screened in pavilion. There is a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal) and a bonfire pit by the pavilion as well. Each yurt has its own fire pit as well with lots of downfall nearby.
Guests also may enjoy the river loop trail along the river. The river is also sandy and very refreshing to take a dip in on a hot summer day!

Other things to note
Please note that this yurt is located 4.7 miles down a sandy two track road that we recommend 4 wheel drive for. The gps pin for the property should get you right to the driveway with the address clearly visible.
There also isn't a cleaning fee associated with the yurt as guests are expected to clean up before departing. Broom and dust pan provided. You will need to take your garbage with you.
