We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location felt private but was very close to the main road running alongside Lake Superior. About 20 minutes from Tahquamenon Falls; about 10 minutes from the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable! The stairs are steep, so ascend with care, but very doable. We would definitely stay here again.
Quiet comfortable cabin with amenities. Wifi and laundry were very convenient. Location was perfect for our week exploring the awesomeness of the north.
We had a very nice stay in this cabin! The house was very cozy. Location was great as we visited Tahquamenon falls to hike. Sitting out by the fire pit late at night was also a highlight of our weekend!
Gorgeous cabin in the woods. Tons of amenities & conveniences: stocked kitchen, lots of towels, washer/dryer, etc. Cabin location was super convenient for us. Very friendly & responsive host. Highly recommend!
We wanted a weekend away with just the 2 of us. We wanted a secluded, cozy cabin in the woods. That is exactly what we got. The cabin was clean, cozy, we loved the white Christmas lights which made it cozier. We felt like 2 giggling kids laying in the full size bed. This cabin was everything we wanted. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. We came to town for a trail run and stayed a few extra nights to hike and get some UP fresh air. The cabin is cute and nestled into the pines. We loved walking down the dirt road for sunsets and the proximity to the North Country Trail. The kitchen was stocked with all pans needed for cooking and there was even filtered water for drinking. It was perfectly remote but still had wifi to download maps and make our plans for the day. We loved our stay.
We loved everything about this area. You can be as busy, or simply relax, as much as you want. We road our side by side and took in many of the attractions in the area. The cabin had ALL we could have ever needed, except maybe more fans. We had unseasonably warm temperatures and werenât quite expecting that. All in all, a WONDERFUL U.P. experience.
What a wonderful experience! My wife and I were visiting the UP for her 50th birthday for birding and general outdoor experiences. The quality of birdlife at WPBO is astounding! We had a wonderful stay, with plenty of space, comfortable furnishings, easy check in and very responsive owners. They aren't on site, but easily handled all of our questions. Everything is there that you need for cooking and relaxing, fire pits, outdoor areas and access to nearby trails, lakes and Whitefish Point. We even spotted a rare owl during our stay! Overall a great location, quiet, well appointed and good value. Recommended!
