Sweet and Simple Montana Retreat: Tucked Away

I'm very happy that you found the cabin beautiful, clean and very pet friendly. It is my goal to ensure my guests have a nice, relaxing and peaceful stay while being in a clean and safe environment. I really wish you would have let me know of ANY concerns 1 - when you arrived, 2 - during your stay or 3 - EVEN AFTER your stay so I could have addressed them right then and there. In fact, this is the only message I received from you: """Our WiFi is sporadic and weak so I hope you get this message. We left the key XXXXXXX. Thanks for the beautiful cabin to stay in and the gifts!""" 1) Exact directions and WIFI instructions were provided prior to your arrival. Starlink is the best out in the woods, but sometimes glitches during inclement weather, out of my control 2) In the past, I had a personal major safety concern letting guests (essentially, strangers) know that I reside on the property. I do not tell everyone, unless I FEEL SAFE doing so. Thank you for giving that information out to all and taking away my choice 3) The cabin sits 2 1/2 to 3 ft LOWER than the house and is angled away from the house and changing in the bedroom or bathroom alleviates ALL concerns 4) There is no physical way anyone can see into the cabin from the house because of the angle and height 5) The camera "facing" the cabin is there, again, for MY safety and is MOTION ACTIVATED when something is NEXT to the house window. It is pointed at the PORCH of the cabin but it actually just covers outside the house window and there is a huge pine tree between the house and the cabin which cuts off visibility. 6) Guests usually prefer no shades / curtains as it defeats the purpose and takes away from the "woods in Montana" experience 7) The tankless water heater was just replaced after a complete system failure. I'm happy to hear there were no actual cabin issues, including heat. It is, unfortunate, that you felt uneasy. Your message to me said nothing about that. A simple conversation would have avoided all of this. I debated responding at all, but the suggestion that my personal safety camera on that side (they are all AROUND the house) was put there to "spy" or something more concerning is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. I'll end with the fact that none of this even was an issue until the rating is extremely suspicious.
