Welcome to Homefield by Cloud Nine Stays.

Whether you are visiting Kansas City for a tournament, a girls weekend, shopping, concerts, NASCAR, Sporting KC, or simply a relaxing getaway, we hope our home provides a comfortable place to gather, unwind, and make great memories together.

Our home is conveniently located just minutes from Homefield Sports Complex, the Legends shopping and entertainment district, Kansas Speedway, Children’s Mercy Park, restaurants, and many of the area’s top attractions. We are in a quiet neighborhood while still being close to everything.

The space was thoughtfully designed to feel comfortable, clean, relaxing, and family-friendly. After years of traveling across the country for youth sports with our own family, we were inspired by many of the great experiences we had along the way. We created this home with those experiences in mind and hope it becomes a place where guests can relax after long tournament days, reconnect with family and friends, or simply enjoy time together.

Game Room:
The garage game room has become one of our guests’ favorite features. Games and accessories are stored in the entertainment center under the TV. Please return all items when finished so future guests can enjoy them as well.

A portable air conditioning unit and heater are available in the game room depending on the season. Please turn them off when leaving the room or property.

A video game console is also available, and instructions can be found on top of the entertainment center.

Hi, we’re Sean and Heather, a Kansas City family who loves sports and travel. With three boys in competitive athletics, we know how important it is to have a clean, comfortable place to land after a busy day. We created Cloud Nine Stays to provide a simple, reliable, and family-friendly experience. We’re excited to host you!

We chose this location very intentionally because we felt it offered one of the best combinations of convenience, entertainment, and comfort in the Kansas City area.

After spending years traveling across the country for youth sports with our own family, we understand how important it is to stay somewhere that is close to the action while still feeling relaxing and comfortable at the end of a long day. This home is just minutes from Homefield Sports Complex, making it incredibly convenient for baseball, basketball, volleyball, and other tournament weekends.

At the same time, guests are also close to many of Kansas City’s top attractions including the Legends shopping and entertainment district, Kansas Speedway, Sporting KC matches at Children’s Mercy Park, restaurants, concerts, and family activities. Whether guests are coming for a tournament, a girls weekend, shopping trip, race weekend, or simply to explore Kansas City, the location makes it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer without spending all weekend driving.

We also loved that the neighborhood itself feels quiet, comfortable, and residential while still being close to major highways and attractions. Our goal was to create a place where guests could enjoy both convenience and relaxation during their stay.

Guests are just minutes from Homefield Sports Complex, making tournament weekends simple and stress-free, while also being close to the Legends shopping and entertainment district, Kansas Speedway, Sporting KC matches, restaurants, concerts, and many of Kansas City’s top attractions. Whether you are visiting for sports, shopping, a girls weekend, race weekend, or a family getaway, the location makes it easy to enjoy the area without spending your trip stuck in traffic.

The home itself was designed to create spaces where groups can comfortably spend time together. The game room has become a guest favorite and gives families, kids, and friends a place to relax and unwind after a busy day. The large driveway makes parking easy for multiple vehicles, which is especially helpful for tournament teams and group travel.

We also love that the property offers the balance of being close to major attractions while still being located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Guests can enjoy the convenience of the area while still having a comfortable place to recharge and feel at home.

Every detail of the home was influenced by the best experiences we had staying in vacation rentals ourselves over the years. Our goal is to provide a clean, welcoming, and memorable stay where guests can truly relax and enjoy their time together in Kansas City.
