Consider this charming standalone house your cozy home away from home while visiting Pasadena. This cute one-bedroom retreat is located in a safe and convenient neighborhood, with grocery stores, banks, shops, doggy daycare, kids’ gyms, cute coffee shops, restaurants, and everyday essentials all nearby — many within walking distance.

The home features a comfortable queen bed, a quaint office space with a futon, and a full bathroom with a bathtub and hair dryer for your convenience. The office/flex space is perfect for remote work, extra guests, or a small child, making the home a great fit for couples, small families, solo travelers, or guests traveling with a pet.

You’ll also have your own small private backyard — a sweet little outdoor spot to sip your morning coffee, relax after a day of exploring, or give your pet a little fresh air. Each room has its own A/C unit for both cooling and heating, helping the space stay comfortable year-round. A washer and dryer are located right outside the house for easy use.

Parking is convenient, with abundant daytime street parking and a dedicated parking space next to the house under a shed.

What I love most is the balance: it’s peaceful and residential, but still close to everything you need — grocery stores, banks, shops, doggy daycare, kids’ activities, coffee shops, restaurants, and everyday essentials. It’s the kind of neighborhood where you can enjoy a quiet stay while still being minutes away from Pasadena, San Marino, Arcadia, and the West San Gabriel Valley.

You’re also close to some of my favorite local places, including The Huntington Library, Downtown Pasadena, Old Pasadena, Pasadena City College, The Shops at Santa Anita, museums, parks, and many wonderful restaurants and cafés.
