From the back end of the garden there is a path that travels through the mossy forest offering a quiet and contemplative hike. There is a small beach on the island that is shared amongst the homeowners and available to renters.

The house itself, built in 2006, is centered around a huge open living area, with couches and comfortable chairs bathed in sunlight. Bedrooms are on opposite ends of the home. The kitchen is big and well-equipped. There are luxurious touches all around, including stone floors over radiant heating throughout, floor-to-ceiling windows in most rooms, a generous master bath with a jetted tub, and refined material finishes everywhere.

The location is convenient to several great area attractions, including the Monhegan Ferry. It is halfway between Rockland and Port Clyde, about a 20-25 minute drive to either. It's 10 minutes to McLoons Lobster Shack!
