Single-story living at the beach, this family-friendly retreat has been lovingly renovated in 2022 for your convenience and features updated living and kitchen areas including brand new appliances, flooring, and modern furniture. Enjoy your morning coffee out on the oceanfront balcony and let the jaw-dropping views (including breathtaking sunrises) amaze you. Gather around the living area to take in a movie night on the large TV or make memories around the dining table, playing board games or reading books that are provided for your enjoyment. Prepare grand meals or on-the-go snacks in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and extras such as a waffle maker, Crockpot, Keurig coffee maker, and filtered water dispenser. The main bedroom also features an ensuite bathroom (with grab bars) as well as an entry to the balcony. Once it's time to explore, a three-minute drive into town will take you to amazing seafood, boutique shopping, arts, entertainment, and an array of family-friendly attractions. Make memories that'll last a lifetime when you stay here in lovely Bethany Beach and Sea Colony - the Premier Family Beach & Tennis Resort Community that features a half-mile of private beach, 12 pools (two indoor), a hot tub, a sauna, basketball and pickleball courts, world-class tennis, fitness centers, activities for all ages, community shuttle and year-round security. The Sea Colony community association requires a non-refundable, mandatory resort fee for all guests aged 4 and older. This fee grants access to community-managed facilities and is collected by VueStay on behalf of Sea Colony. The beach condo was perfect for our family. The place had a very modern feeling, great view and very clean. Our daughters loved the access to the pool. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions about the rental and we got notifications about the check in time, which was nice. We will definitely be back!

Perfect 2BR Oceanfront Condo

We’ve stayed at a few condos in the Sea Colony and this one was hands down the nicest. Perfect for a small family. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, place was clean and had a few games/books for entertainment. Would recommend and stay again!

Beach Escape

Absolutely perfect! From the location, to the gorgeous ocean view, to the comfortable attractive furnishings, this unit made for a wonderful weekend away! Our favorites would have to be sitting on the balcony watching dolphin and listening to the waves, being able to walk to the Bethany Boardwalk and restaurants plus the wonderful Sea Colony amenities. We look forward to returning!

Lovely view

The balcony was lovely with a view of the ocean. However despite the listing as no pets there was definite evidence of a cat with a scratch scroll/cat scratcher in the living room. A real risk for those with allergies to animals.

Nice Stay-Minor Problems

We had a nice stay in this condo and found most everything we needed. The shortcomings were that the shower curtain was mildewed and smelled and the shower handle kept falling off. Oddly, the primary bathroom didn’t have an air conditioning vent so it was quite warm in there. Also, the kitchen was unorganized. I would have organized it myself but I was busy with my grandchildren and didn’t get around to it. Overall, a nice enough unit which will be great once they upgrade the bathrooms.

wonderful stay in a beautiful unit

The unit is really nice. Very spacious, comfortable, and modern design. The view and sound of the ocean is fantastic--and can see and hear from the kitchen! Kitchen had all appliances/dishware we needed--very well stocked. Lots of games and books. We were there for a week with our 2 elementary aged kids and it worked great. Master bedroom is huge and very comfortable. Master bath could use a bit more updating to match the style of the unit, but did the job. Overall, we absolutely loved the unit and our trip to Bethany. Sea Colony was perfect for us. The grounds are extremely well-kept. The parking spot is perfectly located--right next to the elevator and also right at the bottom of the beach ramp, so we used our trunk as a "beach gear locker" and never dragged our sandy stuff up to the unit! We had a great time and I totally recommend this unit and Bethany in general for a simple, quiet and fun family vacation!
