The apartment was awesome! The location was perfect and easily accessible to stores, restaurants, ski resort, etc. and the underground parking was a plus. Could have used a microwave but that’s a minor issue.However, we would have liked better communication with host at check that have prevented a problem the next day!

Return to Garmisch after 37 years

The four of us originally met in Garmisch in 1988 so it was lovely to return to the area to ski, walk, revisit and explore. Oskar apartment is very comfortable for four adults and is situated in a great location. Local shops and amenities are all within a short walk and the underground carpark was an added bonus (especially having driven down from Calais). Would definitely recommend booking through fewo.

Nice place in a good location in town. Quiet to sleep there. Not sure about the tourist pass we were asked to purchase? We were told it would cover one way of the cost to the Zugspitze, but it didn’t! We didn’t use the buses so we should have said No Thanks.

Wedding

We came to visit for a qedding in the mou tains. This location was absolutely perfect. We came earlier to enjoy the beautiful montains and the absolutely charming and friendly Garmisch Partenkirchen. Lots of great food, second hand shops where we found great deals on trachtenmode. Everything was walkable with picturesque backgrounds. Even made friends with some licals and learn some bayrisch ( im a swabian living in usa) only thing we missed in the appartment was a iroon and a ironboard, we purchased a iron and donated and left it for others in the place. I can highly recommend this place. I just wished we had the balcony as it was seen on the advertisement. The view was breathtaking. Pfuerde hopefully see you again

Garmish is a lovely town

Apartment was not cleaned after previous guests, when we arrived flat looks like someone was still in there. Bathroom in total mess no clean towels. However agency staff was very helpful and next day cleaners came over and clean the property. I was told that I will get a refund for one night but they never get back to me again. I’ve got mixed feelings but overall our stay was good, Garmish is a lovely town!

I found this apartment to be clean, but a bit frustrating; would not stay here again. Location was "ok" but a bit noisy in the evening due to traffic. For the door keys, you had to "finesse"the keys into them to get them to fit, often needing several attempts. The light in the kitchen comes on automatically, but also TURNS OFF within 30 seconds, leaving you in the dark. Not safe when you are just starting to pour boiling water into a cup! Contacted the mgr who responded after two days, but he did fix the problem. The booklets for all the appliances were stacked in a drawer but you had to thumb thru each one to figure out which book was for which appliance (no name on them) & then find the book with the language you needed. Very unorganized! It required me a great deal of time to figure out how the washer/dryer worked, especially with the kitchen light shutting off on me in 30 seconds. Coffee Maker? Couldn't find any instructions. Finally bought some instant. All issues could have been easily fixed. I really didn't feel welcomed to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in this apartment. It could have been so much better!

Nice apartment but...

Any early check in possibility does not exist. The office to pick up keys is only open from 3 - 6. When we arrived at 3 o'clock we were told to wait on the sidewalk for a half hour while another client was being served. The information provided was minimal. Usually there is someone to show the apartment and explain things. The underground parking area is not signed and was difficult to find. The garage door would not open when we arrived and when we left. There is no welcome information for tourists in the apartment. There is no hairdryer (!). The apartment itself is lovely - newly remodeled, and the location is great for those who want to be on Ludwigstrasse. Beware pedestrian noise. Sorry to write this review, but facts are facts.

Dear guest I am very sorry about your Bad experiance. But please Notizen that an ealier check in is not possible because of a departure on the same day and the fact that the apartment has to be cleaned up before your check in. The garage door opend with out any Problems during your stay. Only at your last day somebody pressed the emergancy shut down, wich was fixed for you with in 5 minutes. I am very sorry about the delay when you showed up. Usually you dont have to wait. A hair dryer was never promised to you. And last but not leased you should not be to much surprised that a apartment called down town has some noises of the pedestrian zone. Yours Thomas

Die Saubere der Unterkunft war zwar in Ordnung, könnte aber besser sein. Wir haben am Anfang selbst nachgebessert. Die Handtuchausstattung (Duschhandtücher erhielten wir erst nach Nachfrage) war nicht komplett. Der Geschirrspüler war nicht ausgeräumt und anscheinend auch nicht richtig gereinigt. Es könnten in der Wohnung mehr Haken für die Garderobe vorhanden sein. Die Lage der Wohnung ist hervorragend, ein Tiefgaragenstellplatz (allerdings nicht ganz einfach einzuparken) ist vorhanden. Insgesamt haben wir uns in der Wohnung wohlgefühlt.

Sehr hellhörige Wohnung, solide eingerichtet aber im Detail klar verbesserungsbedürftig. Umgebung nachts sehr laut, Schlafen mit offenem Fenster unmöglich. Küchenausstattung mangelhaft. Möblierung der Schlafzimmer in die Jahre gekommen und entsprechend abgenutzt bzw. lieblos platziert. Bewegungsmelder für Küchenlicht sehr störend, ansonsten unzählige funktionslose Lichtschalter in der ganzen Wohnung, so dass das finden dem richtigen Schalter einige Zeit gedauert hat.Im Bad müssten wir zunächst den Abfluss von Haaren der Vornutzer befreien, bevor die Dusche ablief.Lage im Zentrum ansonsten top, man erreicht alles gut und in kurzer Zeit.

Eine tolle Unterkunft

Uns hat es rundum gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist toll, das Haus ist toll, die Lage ist toll. Einzig, dass die Wohnung keinen Balkon hat, es im Inserat aber so aussieht (wenn man nicht exakt die Bildbeschreibung liest), fanden wir nicht so schön. Wenn das etwas klarer kommuniziert werden würde, wäre es uns letztendlich aber auch egal gewesen. :) Fazit: Top-Wohnung, die wir immer wieder gerne buchen würden.

Einfache Unterkunft für einen Kurzurlaub

Gute Lage, netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Eine richtige Kaffeemaschine wäre nicht schlecht gewesen. Die Schlafzimmer ohne Nachttisch und Lichtschalter am Bett ist eher für junge Leute. Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden.

Mängel und Was Mann ändern könnte

Grundsätzlich handelt es sich um eine schöne und zentral gelegene Wohnung. Bestimmt total gut geeignet für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind vielleicht auch zwei Kinder. Aber mit drei Erwachsenen und einem Kind wird es schon knapp. Besonders im Bad, wo es keine Ablage Möglichkeiten oder auch Handtuch Aufbewahrung gibt. Auch die Ausstattung der Küche ist eher spartanisch. Absolut unverständlich zum Beispiel, wieso es keine Kaffeemaschine gibt. Es gab einen Eierbecher. Und wieso das Licht in der Küche mit einem Bewegungsmelder ausgestattet wurde, bleibt für uns ein Rätsel. Die Tiefgarage ist für geübte Fahrer machbar. Wenn man sie denn benutzen kann. Wir wurden Montags morgens von Bauarbeiten geweckt und mussten feststellen, das die Tiefgarage nicht mehr befahrbar war. Eine Info dazu gab es vorher nicht. Glücklicherweise waren die Bauarbeiter nett und haben sich gekümmert das man zumindest raus kam. Einige Tage dann aber nicht mehr rein.

Ich bedaure sehr, dass wir ihren Vorstellungen nicht entsprechen konnten. Das Apartment sieht exakt so aus, wie auf den Fotos. So verwundert es mich sehr, dass sie andere Erwartungen hatten.

Schöne Wohnung

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und über unsere Unterkunft und alle Urlaubsmöglichkeiten in der Region informiert. Tolle Lage - im historischen Zentrum, Bushaltestelle gleich um die Ecke. Es war praktisch, um alle Attraktionen zu erreichen. Die Wohnung hatte alles, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt brauchten. Schöne Aussicht auf die Berge aus dem Fenster. Würde die Wohnung sehr empfehlen und hoffe, wiederzukommen. Leider funktionierten der Wasserkocher und das Licht in der Lounge nicht, als wir eincheckten, und niemand reagierte auf unsere Nachricht auf watsapp, aber ich hoffe, dass dies in Zukunft leicht behoben werden kann.

Die Wohnung ist genauso wie beschrieben. Sehr zentral, hell, modern eingerichtet und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super! Wir kommen gern wieder!!!
