📍 BEACH ACCESS OPTIONS~
Private Watersound Boardwalks:
- 5 private boardwalks to choose from, about a 5 min golf cart ride to the sand.

Nearby Public Beach Access (walk, bike, or drive; the golf cart can't leave Watersound):
- Deer Lake State Park Beach Access (0.39 mi, 8-min walk or 1-min drive): The closest public access, with about 50 parking spots, restrooms, and dining pavilions with charcoal grills. The boardwalk out to the beach is about a quarter mile long. $3 per vehicle, paid on site or reserved ahead. The gate closes at 6 PM.
- Gulf Lakes Beach Access #8 (1.1 mi, 23-min walk): Best by bike on the path along the south side of 30A. Bike rack available. No car or cart parking, and signs block cart parking on the south shoulder near the access. - Walton Dunes Beach Access #9 (1.19 mi, 24-min walk or 4-min drive): Public lot about 100 yards from the entry (it's small, so get there early) and plenty of bike racks. No boardwalk or steps, so you can walk straight from the road onto the sand.

✏️ GOOD TO KNOW~
- The golf cart can only be used within the Watersound community - please take note you can drive this to the private boardwalks and to various locations in the community, but it cannot be driven outside the gates due to HOA regulations.
- Parking: There are 2 spaces available in the driveway.
- Minimum age to rent the home is 25.
- We love our furry friends, and they need a vacation too! We allow dogs that are under 40 lbs and non- shedding. If your pup fits that criteria, we d love for you to bring them along. A one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $150 will be added to your reservation. Thank you for understanding!
- Vacation disruptions can be a bummer. While it doesn t happen often, you may experience issues with Wi-Fi. We are not responsible for any disruptions to the Wi-Fi service or any construction that may affect your experience. Please note that such occurrences are beyond our control, and we appreciate your understanding and patience in these matters.
