Welcome to Whispering Pines, an A-Chalet property! We’re thrilled to host you and want to make sure you have a great stay. Please take a moment to review our house rules:

📍 Check-In & Arrival
- Complete the Rental Agreement before arrival per San Bernardino County regulations
- Check-in time is 4:00 PM (early check-in may be available upon request. We will do our best to accommodate!).
- Please be mindful of quiet hours from 10 PM - 7 AM to respect our neighbors.

🐾 Pet Policy
We’re happy to welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs under the following conditions:
- Pet Fee: $75 per stay (maximum of 2 dogs).
- Pet Rules:
• Keep pets off furniture and beds to maintain cleanliness.
• Crate pets when unattended inside the cabin.
• Always leash and supervise pets outdoors.
• Clean up after your pet—failure to do so may result in an additional cleaning fee.
• Please note: No cats allowed. Thank you for understanding!

🗑️ Trash & Recycling Guidelines
- Black Cart (Household Waste): Bagged food waste, food containers, lightweight plastics, Styrofoam, bagged pet waste, and clothing.
- Blue Cart (Recycling): Flattened cardboard, paper, glass bottles, aluminum, tin, and magazines.
- Our team will make sure the cans are at the curb for trash day. If the bins are full before then, please notify us and we will take care of it for you!

🔥 Fireplace
- This home is equipped with a gas fireplace insert. No wood needed.
- Please make sure that the fireplace is off when you leave the home.

♨️ BBQ
- Propane BBQ. Turn on propane valve during use and turn off after use
- Please clean the BBQ after use (fees may apply if left excessively dirty)
- please note: no charcoal BBQs permitted in Big Bear

🌡️ Thermostat & Heating
- Adjust to your preferred temperature throughout your stay
- When checking out, set to 65°F

🍽️ Kitchen & Cleaning Expectations
- Wash and put away all used dishes that you use throughout your stay
- Before check out, please load and run the dishwasher
- Please rinse off dishes before placing in dishwasher
- Wipe down kitchen surfaces after cooking

❄️ Snow Removal
- A shovel and salt are provided for your use.
- Plow services automatically occur during or after 3 inches of snowfall.

🚪 Check-Out Instructions
- Return furniture, blankets, and decor to their original positions.
- Take out all trash and recyclables before departure.
- Lock all doors and windows.
- Set thermostat to 65°F

📍Additional Information
- We have a steep driveway, please park carefully. Low clearance vehicles might scrape. Higher clearance vehicles recommended.
- Safety: This home is not child proof. Please use caution with little ones.
