The owner did not respond to our written communication nor our telephone call. We requested a late checkout but received no response.The home itself was the best VRBO home we have stayed in. It must have been redone recently and had everything you needed. We have stayed in quite a few.Having said that, here are a few minor suggestions to make the property even better.The two trash cans in the garage were completely full. We had to leave the trash in the kitchen. Somebody needs to take out the trash on trash day.I t would have been nice to have a few more towels.The reclining sofa was wonderful on the one side it worked. We could not figure out how to get the other side hooked up or running.The initial impression with the unpainted front porch was not good. So we were very pleasantly surprised upon entering. An inexpensive paint job would improve looks a lot.

When i first arrived at this property, I was impressed with the layout. It's later on that it became a hassle to get in touch with the host. She doesn't answer the phone, you have to communicate with the host through the portal even during emergencies. She did not answer the phone at all, i even had to call the VRBO help line due to this. There is only 1 TV in the entire house, so everyone has to watch the same thing the entire time. The floors are uneven in the master bedroom between the doorway and the bathroom doorway. It clearly looks like some foundation work was performed in the house. Also when you turn on the shower in the master bathroom, the toilet begins to bubble and make noises and the shower doesn't drain completely while showering. Later on, there was an unbearable sewage spell coming from the washroom and I sent the host a message and attempted to reach out to her via phone and tell her what we were experiencing, she didn't answer the phone amd she responded on the app an hour later suggesting that she had another property that we could move to although it wasn't complete and the house had holes in it, because she was working on the foundation in that home. Instead of coming over and seeing what we were talking about and offer to put us in a hotel or some other kind of accommodation.

Since your visit, we have taken several steps to address the concerns you raised. We have improved our guest communication procedures to ensure faster response times, inspected and repaired the plumbing system that was causing the drainage, bubbling, and odor issues, and completed additional maintenance work throughout the property. When the plumbing concern was reported, we offered alternative accommodations as an immediate solution while arranging for repairs. We understand that this option did not meet your needs, and we regret the frustration this caused. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention, as guest feedback helps us improve.
