Our home is thoughtfully equipped for both short and extended stays, with blackout curtains in both bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep, free Wi-Fi, an iron, hair dryer, and a washer/dryer set for your convenience.

Enjoy easy access from the highway while being just a short walk from the wilderness. Hike to the top of the mountain to take in the beautiful views, or stay cozied up inside and enjoy the Smart TV.

Perfect for wedding guests, the home is conveniently located near Twenty Mile House (0.8 mile, 2-minute drive) and Kinship Ranch (0.4 mile, 1-minute drive).

Verizon service has excellent reception here. Guests using other carriers may have limited cellular service and should plan to use their phone’s Wi-Fi calling feature.

This home is supplied by a well system with fresh, naturally great-tasting water that is regularly tested for safety, so there’s no need to purchase bottled water.

Please use the mini-split system as the primary source of heating and cooling. The wood stove is reserved for emergency use only during a prolonged power outage and with host approval.

Temporary Road Construction: Caltrans is currently improving Highway 70 near the property. Guests should expect traffic delays, and some cottages closer to the highway may experience construction noise. We encourage guests to check current road conditions before traveling and to consider this before booking if they are sensitive to noise or have a time-sensitive itinerary.

For insurance and safety reasons, all overnight guests and pets must be included on the reservation. Unauthorized guests or pets will incur additional charges beginning at $100. Guests must have a designated bed, sleeping on the sofa is not permitted.
