Brand new to the Airbnb market this year (2023), we would like to welcome you to Salt Rock! This fun and vibrant 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation rental is located in the heart of Oak Island, and is an easy stroll to the beach. You're also withing easy walking distance to dining, shopping, grocery stores, and more. You can even bring your furry family members with you as this home is pet friendly too!



The Space:

The moment you pull into the driveway, you'll want to run up the stairs and explore all that this home has to offer.



The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a side-by-side fridge, glass top stove and plenty of counter space. With comfortable seating for 8 at the dining table and four more at the uniquely-shaped island, the entire group can enjoy meals together.



Moving into the living room, you'll find a sofa, loveseat, oversized chair and upholstered ottoman that is so comfortable you'll want to spend some time relaxing with a great book or taking a nap.



Just down the hallway are the bedrooms. Enjoy four bedrooms and two baths in this newly updated home. 3 of the bedrooms feature king sized beds, and the fourth bedroom is perfect for the kiddos with a twin over full bunk bed. Each of the bedrooms as well as the living room have roku-enabled televisions. Feel free to log in with your apps and watch your shows or enjoy a family movie night.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire home, except for a couple owner's cabinets and an owner's closet.



The Neighborhood:

Lovely neighborhood in the desirable ocean view section of Oak Island. This is a perfect neighborhood for a leisurely stroll or a bike ride. The home is located within a 2 minute walk to the beach and within easy walking distance grocery stores, gift shops, clothing stores, restaurants, ice cream shops and more.



No worries about paid parking here - you can drop your family at the beach, return your car to the home and it's just a two minute walk back!



Getting Around:

Getting around on Oak Island is easy. In addition to traditional vehicles, we find that our guests enjoy walking, biking, or even renting an E-Bike or golf cart. (please keep in mind that golf cart drivers and passengers must follow the same rules of the road as cars, and are not allowed on streets with a speed limit greater than 35 mph).



Whatever your mode of transportation, you'll find you are greeted everywhere you go by a smile or a friendly wave.



Other Things to Note:

Your linens will be delivered in wrapped and labeled packages just prior to your arrival by a professional linen service company, and include sheets for all beds, bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths for each individual, kitchen towels and dish cloths, as well as bath mats. The house will have pillows, blankets and quilts. You'll want to be sure to bring beach towels!

Our co-host, Mariah, lives on the island and is available to you should you need assistance during your stay.
