The Space:

Have a ball during your getaway at Summerwind Villa – 406! All the makings for a fabulous Edisto Beach vacation are right here! This charming home is situated directly across the street from one of Wyndham Ocean Ridge’s pools and the playground. The screened porch offers a front-row seat for taking in the abundant wildlife like herons, egrets, turtles, and more. The kitchen, dining, and living room combination will have your group sharing laughter and fun throughout your visit to Edisto. Internet access and cable televisions will keep each guest entertained if a brief afternoon shower interrupts your sunny day on the beach.



Things to Know

Check-in time: 4:00 PM.

Check-out time: 10:00 AM.

All guests shall abide by The Good Neighbor Policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

This vacation rental is located inside of the Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort. Boats, trailers, motorcycles, mopeds, campers, RV's, and golf carts are not allowed inside of the resort.

The fireplace is not available for guest use.

Wyndham amenities are available for purchase for an additional fee from the Wyndham Cafe but there is NO GUARANTEE due to limited passes per day. Wyndham Amenities are shared pools, tennis, gym fitness room, mini golf, playground, and Beach Cabana.

Wonderful location and nice size unit. I wish the weather had been nicer so we could have enjoyed the beautiful screened porch. We left early because we could not sleep well in the bed, but I am sure other people would sleep great there.

Great experience and location

The closeness to the playground and pool was excellent! The home looked exactly like the pictures and the host did not disappoint on providing plenty of towels, a brand new dish sponge, dishwasher packs and laundry pods! Will definitely look for this place to stay again.

Always Wonderful at Edisto

The unit was very comfortable and convenient. Close to the beach and restaurants. The kitchen gear was a little thin but not problematic since we brought some things from home. The screened in porch was a definite plus. Enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was excellent. One complaint the description does not make clear there was no bathroom upstairs. This does pose a problem for older guests who make multiple visits to the bathroom during the night. For our stay not knowing the bathroom issue caused one of the guests to sleep on the couch. Had there been a bathroom upstairs everyone would have had a bed or we would have booked a different property.

Amazing Stay

We had an excellent vacation in this house. The location was absolutely impeccable. The porch was our absolute favorite part of the villa. Our only concern would be the mattress in the king bedroom. The mattress topper shifting and not a lot of support.

I thought the rental was very much like the pictures. The area upstairs does get a little warm so be prepared for that. Good location. Kitchen had everything I needed for cooking while there. We loved the screened in porch!

Great dog friendly home!

We found the house to be very comfortable with everything we needed. It was a great place to bring a dog as they had gates to close off the stairs to the upper level. It is 1/2 of a duplex which was not mentioned in the listing.

Perfect

This is a perfect place to stay for a small family. We had the absolute best time. Initially worried about it being too busy right across from the Wyndham pool and playground area, but it wasn’t at all! Besides, our children loved that we could walk over the playground. The beach wagon that was there was a HUGE help and a plus for us. We will definitely be booking here again!

Great location

This unit was clean and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. Listening to the birds in the morning was great. Our grandchildren came to visit for their spring break and had a great time at the park directly across the street. It was an easy walk to the golf course and restaurant near by. The beach was a 5 minute drive. We will come again.

Great Location, Great Stay!

We chose this rental for the location, updated decor, and screen porch and we were not disappointed. Location feels private even though it is in development because of trees and pond that border it. Loved the screen porch and its new furniture (different than shown in listing), very comfortable!! I was a little concerned about it being a dog friendly rental, as my daughter has allergies, but it was perfectly cleaned! Bathroom showers have also been updated from listing photos, also very nice. We would definitely return!

Relaxing Stay

Well maintained and clean pet friendly duplex. We loved the screen porch and so did our dogs. Shady with a wonderful breeze and very private. We watched the turtles and fish in the pond right next to the porch and the deer crossing the golf course behind.Bathrooms appear to have recently been renovated with a great wall in shower in one bath and tub with surround in the other. Would be perfect for 2 couples. Also has upstairs with 2 beds kids would love. Everything we needed to have a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend!

Overall a Nice Place

This home was very nice. I'm reviewing because I was up in the loft. The beds up there were very uncomfortable - mattresses felt like they were very old with no padding or give. Perhaps children usually stay up here, but in our case it was all adults. Also, it would be a really nice touch to include pool privileges with the rental. We were stunned to pay an extra $75 for a pool day pass!
