The Space:

It's all about the view at this bright and spacious, family-friendly home on Woahink Lake. The open floorplan boasts a sitting area with a wood-burning fireplace and a fireside desk for remote work or schooling, an adjacent sunlit living area with a sectional and a 75-inch TV, a dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, snacks, or mugs of hot tea or cocoa. There is even a Keurig coffee machine.



Outside, enjoy unobstructed lake views from your furnished deck, get something sizzling on the gas grill, and dine together at the picnic table. The crown jewel, a six-person hot tub on the wind-protected deck overlooking the lake, invites ultimate relaxation. This home also features a private dock, a five-seat pedal boat, and two kayaks, so you can set out whenever you want for a paddle around the lake.



This home is nestled alongside gorgeous Woahink Lake, which offers refreshing waters for summertime swimming and great kayaking and fishing opportunities. Within a few miles, you can access the sand dunes (well-loved by ATV riders and sandboarders), and beach access is a short drive away! Be sure to stop into Old Town Florence to browse the galleries, shop for souvenirs, or get some takeout from one of the local restaurants. The Siuslaw Pioneer Museum features living history exhibits, photographs, and artifacts from Florence's history, and don't forget to pick up some ground beans from River Roasters for perfect cups of coffee enjoyed out on your deck.



Things to Know

Two kayaks, lifejackets (two adults, one child), and a five-seat pedal boat are provided.

Pets are strictly prohibited due to the homeowner's severe allergies.

Check-in time: 4:00 PM.

Check-out time: 10:00 AM.

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

All of the guests enjoyed the property. One room had critter noise in the ceiling and walls and it was difficult for them to sleep at night. We were unaware the property only offered a starter kit of toilet paper, so guests should plan on purchasing toilet paper to ensure they don’t run out.

This was an awesome getaway house for my birthday weekend! The hosts really thought of everything. Pros: fully equipped kitchen WITH labels (so helpful because we cooked a lot! Included dishwasher but no drying rack, cooking pans and bakeware, plenty of dish ware and silverware, even included spices and other extra things like ziploc bags); basic toiletries and plenty of towels (for inside and outside use); extremely comfortable couch with huge tv and access to connect to streaming services; hot tub (turn on when you arrive bc it takes a day to heat up); washer and dryer with detergent provided; bedrooms had comfortable mattresses, fresh linens, multiple pillows, warm blankets. Overall not too many complaints with our stay and Avari was awesome and quick with communication!Cons: walls are paper thin and every noise can be heard (I could hear conversations clearly with doors closed, recommend ear plugs-thankfully most of us had brought noise canceling headphones so it worked out); dryer was on the fritz (recommend low setting for an hour and you gotta do it like 2-3 rounds); no shoe house (which is fine, we actually all live like that in our own homes so we brought our house slippers but the floors were pretty dirty); outdoor equipment such as pedal boats were filled with water so we couldn’t use them; hvac was broken and they only provided 3 space heaters (4 rooms…thankfully we had cozy things); shower drain clogged so we all used one shower

Wonderful property

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay. We cooked at home for most meals and the kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was wonderful. The kayaks were fun. Beds were comfortable. Location to town was perfect.

The house was super clean with multiple activities available. We don’t get away often but it was a great getaway! If you happen to bring dune vehicles the driveway is a bit of a tight fit for a trailer.

Peaceful lakefront retreat!

We had a great time at the Lazy house! Very comfy accommodations, well stocked kitchen and a coffee/tea station! Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings with coffee and looking at the lake. Also enjoyed the provided kayaks and hot tub.

The property was incredibly well-maintained. Everything was labeled and easy to find. Special extra touch of having menus of all the local restaurants and a map. Would absolutely go again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Lazy House. Super comfortable furniture, soft warm throws to snuggle in, and a quiet beautiful view. Multiple hummingbirds joined us on the back deck for morning coffee and to watch the sunset. We had a great stay
