The single-level rancher includes fabulous resort amenities and breathtaking views of Big Meadow 's 11th fairway. This stylish, air-conditioned home sits on a slight hill and looks down onto the fairway and Fawn Lake at Black Butte Ranch. Watch wildlife from your windows or pamper yourself with resort amenities including two on-site golf courses, shared pools and hot tubs, fitness facilities, hiking, and biking trails!



Your private garage is ideal for storing skis or stand-up paddleboards - whatever your pleasure - for year-round fun. A bike path to the lodge is just a short ride away on Hawk's Beard and the resort is like a playground offering horseback riding, canoeing on Phalarope Lake, guide-led excursions into the Deschutes National Forest, and more. In winter, the grounds are transformed for Nordic ski trails and snowshoeing! A short 15-mile drive to Hoodoo Ski Area will have you snowboarding and Alpine skiing in no time.

We loved the outside decks and the large windows which made the home light and airy. The design and furnishings were dated but everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked.

Welcoming Home.

Four of us were visiting Ben and sisters and stayed in this beautiful home at Black Butte Ranch. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The bedrooms were at opposite ends of the house, so there was no noise. The kitchen was well equipped.We ate at the restaurant in the lodge and it was wonderful. We had a blizzard during our visit and enjoyed sitting inside watching the snow come down.Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and well provisioned with a good array of pots and pans, decent knives (If you cook, bring your own), clean bathroom, comfortable beds, Netflix! We'll be back!!

Good, quiet location with views of #11 fairway and green. We enjoyed the views from both living room and deck. The kitchen and bar-b-que served us well. We would recommend upgrades of the "kiddy size" toilets. Despite contacting Vacassa to report our inability to enjoy the TV, we never saw anyone arrive to correct the problem.

The perfect spot to enjoy BBR! We'll be back next year!

The home and our stay were wonderful. The house fit our needs perfectly. We made great use of the kitchen, enjoyed many games at the table by the windows, spent lots of time reading, napping and talking on the deck and the location was perfect for enjoying all that Black Butte has to offer. While the property is a little dated, it's extremely comfortable and offers everything you could need for a wonderful vacation. Having 2 rooms with king beds was such a bonus and the lay out of the home allowed for everyone to have their own space while also offering plenty of gathering space for everyone.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

Our family of four fit perfectly in the home for Christmas vacation. The game table and fireplace were a huge hit, and the beds were all comfortable. The house is well stocked with everything we needed. Extra points for the puzzle collection. The peaceful view of the geese on the golf course was an added bonus. Thank you very much!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The backyard had a beautiful view of the golf course. The deck was a great place to sit and drink coffee or read books. Coffee maker lid was broken and house was pretty dusty. When taking the sheets off the primary bed, the mattress pad was dirty and stained and so were the feather pillows. Not a great thing to find after already sleeping in the bed. House is well stocked with the necessary supplies. House was outdated but served its purpose. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property with a few cleaning improvements.

Labor Day Vacation

This house is well equipped, clean on arrival & easy access. Great large deck with good view of the golf course; quiet neighborhood. The only concern we had was the TV which refused to access anything but Apple TV. Would return.

Golf house

House was clean and tidy. Great views, BBR is always one of our favorite places, would stay here again. Only feedback would be to have more specifics on what to do with trash. Trans cans in garage but are un-marked. We have been to the ranch previously and knew of the refuse and recycling center but the instructions were not clear on which to use.

The location of the property is beautiful and private and we would definitely rent it again. The interior of the house is very comfortable and the views out nearly every window are so relaxing. VRBO customer service was amazing. One problem we did run into was that we lost power for over 12 hours on a cold, dark night. We had to rely on the wood fireplace for heat. The glass safety doors kept falling off every time we opened them to add more wood. Hopefully that will be repaired or replaced for safety reasons. The other minor frustrating thing was that the lid to the coffee pot was broken. It sounds petty but we are a coffee drinking family and constantly having to try to balance the lid to brew or serve coffee became annoying by the 4th day.

Great house... Horrible communication

Let me start off by saying that this home is beautiful and adequately maintained and equipped. That being said there were additional fees charged after we had already checked in, in order to use the facility as advertised. These fee's we're based upon the number of people and nights being stayed. So those charges add up quickly. No where on the page was it explained that a access code needed to be purchased in order to drive to the house. If you rent this house just factor in that you may have for fork over another 100 dollars just to get pasted the gate.

Great house, hard for 85 year old

It’s a lovely, well appointed home, and well equipped. But steps need a railing. I needed help entering and exiting. One night I had to call 911 to get in. My husband was in the hospital that night because he bumped his head. Toilets much too low. Towels very old and well used. We didn’t have TV until Wednesday when Collin from your tech agency came and straitened it out for us. He is coming back today to put it back the way it was. Collin said it is extremely complicated- not easy for us old folks. Our son and his family came on Friday. We had a good time.we left at 10:07.

Our Favorite BBR Property

Check in was a hot mess, more on that below. The best fireplace set up at Black Butte ranch just got better! A fine stack of dry firewood was ready to go in a handy bin upon arrival. A large container of all sorts of kindling sat just beside. Light and enjoy. We like this place so much that we treat it as if we own it. The clocks (wall, microwave, stove, bedside alarm) had not been reset to standard time, so I did that. The master bath toilet backed up at the first flush. I found a plunger, unblocked the pipes and cleaned up the wet mess. The stove light is out and this is a big problem for those of us who cook every meal. Found replacement bulbs in the storage closet but they are the wrong kind. Those that are dimmable are apparently required. We made due without light on the stovetop. Check in disaster - a new 2 step lockbox/key system has been put into place. The code for the door was provided via text but the second code to open the lockbox that contains the needed key was said to be emailed. I received no such email. So, we are locked out. Had to call VRBO in the cold and dark to get it fixed. 30 minutes or so later, a major pain and an avoidable error were resolved. Please make note and improve the entry process for our next stay. Peaceful - at least in late Spring

Wonderfully spacious place with view of pond and golf course. We were there in mid May so not many people. In fact we saw more maintenance people than guests or golfers. Perfect setting for a tranquil get away. Summer might be a different story as the overall property is quite large.

We stayed during winter. The snow covered views from the living room/kitchen were gorgeous. House was well maintained and equipped. Will stay there again. Highly recommend.

Wonderful getaway

The house was clean and accommodating. The lights flickered quite a bit in kitchen but didn't bother us enough to report it during our stay. We were bummed we had to pay a fee to the resort as it was their off season and the Lodge was closed. Overall nice place in a quiet location.

Outstanding

A refresh of this property has taken place, making an excellent BBR property even better. The one thing that could be done to make this place more desirable is to replace the mattress and topper in the main bedroom.
