Perfect for our group! The easement to the beach makes it a quick 5min walk. Plenty of games at the house as well - basketball, pop a shot, darts, and shuffleboard. Tons of bedrooms/beds. Would definitely stay again!

This is my favorite house when we visit Lake Michigan. The rooms are perfect with good separation of spaces. The house has been refinished beautifully since I stayed last year. What difference, everything was fresh and new. The fully stocked kitchen, games, towels, coffee bar, and gaming system were perfect. With 10 adults in our party we never felt crowded. I’m an above the knee amputee and found the main floor primary bedroom a lifesaver. I can’t wait to come back next year.

Our whole family loved meeting at this home for a family holiday weekend. We loved it and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Katie was amazing for communication and accommodating our needs. The beach is a short walk. Plenty of games and activities for all ages. Sleeping arrangements were great! The family is already asking if we can come back to the same place every year. It truly was a great place for all of us to gather!! Thank you Katie!!! We will be back!

We had a great stay overall and would definitely come back. The location is fantastic, an easy walk to the beach, and on the days we drove, we always found free parking nearby. The beach in this area is absolutely beautiful. We also took a trip to the local zoo, which was a nice outing and had a great observation tower with fantastic views over Lake Michigan.The host was friendly, communicative, and made check-in super easy. She even texted us when the house was ready earlier than check-in, which we really appreciated.The house was comfortable, the beds were nice, and the kitchen had most of what we needed. The basement was a great bonus, with games and a comfy couch, since the main-level sitting area is fairly small. There is also a large backyard and a nice deck, though we mostly spent our time at the beach and did not use them much.There were a few small housekeeping concerns. Some bathroom towels were not very clean, there was still sand in the bathmat in the main-level bathroom, and the drip coffee maker was unusable because there was mold in the water reservoir. Fortunately, there was a K-Cup machine we could use instead.Despite those small issues, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the great location and responsive host.

Great home to stay at in Michigan City with family. The house matched the pictures. Using the garage to store our beach stuff daily was helpful. The easement to the beach through the woods was good to use during the day but wouldn’t recommend at night or if you are carrying a lot of stuff to the beach. Katie is great and a very communicative and responsive host.

Great place to stay with our extended family. Easy walk to a really nice beach. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. It had a lot of family games as well! The host was quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend this home!

Welcome to our Beach Home!

We are Jeremy and Katie from Chicago. We fell in love with Michigan City years ago, visiting every chance we got, and eventually decided to buy a home here with the dream of one day retiring by the lake.

We’ve personally remodeled the entire space, pouring our hearts into every detail to ensure it’s perfect for your stay. Our goal is for you to enjoy every second of your time here in Sheridan Beach. We chose this location very intentionally—we wanted to be within walking distance of our friends at Beach Walk and, of course, the water. Thanks to the nearby easement, we are just a block away from Lake Shore Drive.

"There is so much we love about this neighborhood. In the summer, the area is bustling with energy—from the local restaurants and shopping at Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets to visits to the zoo and scenic drives to New Buffalo. In the winter, the pace slows down and becomes incredibly peaceful; there is nothing quite like watching deer prance through the snow before heading out for a cozy dinner in town."

The home itself is designed for comfort, featuring a walk-out basement that opens into a massive backyard. Having three full bathrooms is a huge plus for groups, and the two-car garage provides plenty of extra space and convenience during your stay."
