Aurora views from 2 br apartment by lake!
Summary:
Come stay at Alliceâs Aurora Apartment! A peaceful apartment overlooking the Back Bay lake. Private balcony with amazing views. A perfect base for viewing the Auroras! You can see the auroras from every room!
Yellowknife Business Licence No. 10 008588
The Space:
This apartment is on the second floor of a house in Yellowknife's Old Town. There is an open concept kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a balcony overlooking Back Bay. You can watch the float planes taking off and landing on the lake, and you can also watch the Auroras from the apartment!
Guest Access:
You will have the entire apartment to yourself! There is a private entrance to the apartment.
The Neighborhood:
Stroll down the hill from downtown Yellowknife and youâll find yourself in Old Town, the zany, historic, outdoorsy epicentre of the city. Here, hugging the shores of Great Slave Lake, are a wild array of log-cabins, colourful waterfront houses, galleries filled with First Nations art, fresh-fish restaurants, kayak-rental shops, and bobbing houseboats. The Northâs best events (including sled-dog races and floatplane gatherings) and most colourful people (all hail the SnowKing!) can be found here.
Getting Around:
Many of Yellowknife's must-see and do activities are located right here in Old Town, walking distance from our apartment. We are also close to a bus stop, where you can catch a bus downtown. You can also talk downtown in about 20-30 minutes, or take a quick taxi.
Bucket List Tours will pick up from our apartment!
Other Things to Note:
As we are in the far North, we are on a sceptic system and trucked water, so we ask our guests to be conservative with their water use and not to flush anything but toilet paper. Thank you!
Interaction with Guests:
I live in the downstairs apartment, but I am often away for work contracts. Me and my co-host, Tamar, will be available to you via the Airbnb app or by phone.
