PAWS and RELAX at this well-appointed coastal vacation home! Designed with cool and calm beachy decor. Ideal for all your family members to include your K9 companions. Easy beach access, fenced yard, swimming pool, and plenty of outdoor seating.

Family meals are a breeze when prepared in the modern kitchen. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and kitchen bar seating (seats 5) are just a few of the prime kitchen features. The dining table seats 8. The living room has comfortable sectional seating and a large screen TV. Bar seating is available at the outdoor covered bar area on the first level.

Bedroom 1 has has a double vanity, shower, and door to pool area. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a double vanity and shower. Bedrooms 4 and 5 share a hall bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

The laundry room is on the first level along with a game room with slider access to the pool and outdoor shower.

Access to the beach is easy and convenient! The gate on the north side of the fenced yard opens to a public path.

Fun Amenities: Corn Hole, Game Room, Pool Fun, Beach Excursions, Arcade game, Beach Chairs, Umbrellas, 2 Beach Carts, Boogie Boards, Sand Toys, Darts, Foosball in the lower-level game room, Swimming Pool has floats, pool volleyball and pool basketball

The cottage is immaculate and has everything my family needs for a fun week at the beach! The kitchen is definitely well equipped. The walkway to the beach runs directly beside the cottage! The management company was great as well. They were quickly responsive to our questions.

Very clean. Well appointed. Lots of bugs on the back deck and an issue with the alarm going off. Some members felt the walk to the beach a bit long. It felt that way lugging things or kids but reasonable otherwise. otherwise an excellent home for a multi generational visit.

In ‘24 our middle son got engaged on the beach and in ‘26 our youngest son and his fiancee received word that their bid on a home was accepted! What will be in store for our eldest son when we return in ‘28???Our pups absolutely loves this place and are right at home here too!! We’ll be back in ‘28... Hopefully with a grand baby or two. 😊

Family Getaway

Spent the week with my children and grandchildren at this lovely house. Pool was awesome. The house had plenty of space for everyone. Love the beach look and tons of outside seating!

Perfect beach house!

We were so impressed with the upgrades and how clean the house was when we arrived! The pool and outdoor area was perfect for our family and our dog! The bedrooms were very spacious and the TVs were a bonus. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Sandbridge stay

Our stay at Paws and Relax really exceeded our expectations. I was looking for a place that would accommodate not only our grown children (no grandkids yet) and our all important golden retriever. The house was the perfect size for us and three adult kids. It was clean and very thoughtfully designed and decorated. It was very convenient to the beach and we loved the pool. We will definitely be back next year!

We had a group of 11 (6 adults and 5 teenagers) and we all thought it was a beautiful house. It was nicely furnished, clean, the pool area was great, the sleeping areas worked well for our family. It was a short walk to the beach and having the foot wash and outdoor shower to clean off after was welcome to avoid bringing sand in. I also thought the location was great. The little market at the end of the road was great to grab a few items as needed and they have really good donuts. It is close enough to shopping, restaurants and activities but far enough from the crowds. Highly recommend and if we head back to the Sand bridge area would rent here again.

Fabulous week!!

Well equipped kitchen, game closet, book shelves and beach equipment!! So close to a perfect family beach with good waves for the older kids and tide pools for the little ones. Bedrooms are very private allowing each family flexibility in bed times and wake up times. Out door space was huge and pool was great fun. Dog friendly. Very clean. We’ll be back!

Stay 2023 summer

This was the perfect house. The kitchen was so well stocked, the house was super clean and we had a wonderful time! The only suggestion is that maybe in the Amex room downstairs - another couch. It was a rainy week and we were a bit on top of each other in the living room. I would highly recommend this house to anyone!

Great Location and Outdoor Living

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Paws & Relax is a terrific vacation property. Beach access right through the backyard just steps to the beach. So close you can easily come back for lunch instead of packing the cooler. Beach area was large and not overly crowded - plenty of room. The house was immaculate - squeaky clean. The kitchen has great amenities. The A/C kept the house cool even with almost 100 degree days. There is one ensuite bedroom on the 1st floor. The second floor has 2 bedrooms on one side and two on the other, with the kitchen and living/family room in between. You can close off either side of the bedrooms by closing a door if desired, making it easy to have younger children go to bed while the adults can stay up, or allow others to sleep in. The outdoor area is terrific - a large pool with basketball and volleyball nets and access to pool toys. Lots of outdoor furniture with plenty of places to eat or just relax. Good communication with Ocean Sands Realty - timely text messages with codes and instructions. We were incorrectly charged for bringing a dog, which we did not have, but one quick call got that mixup fixed.

Wonderful Family Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Paws & Relax in August 2024. The property and home was even better than we expected! Pictures do not do it justice. The property was very large and private. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool was excellent! Loved the lounge chairs on the patio. The back yard access to the beach path was perfect. The house had everything we needed. We didn't need to bring so many pool and beach toys because there were plenty there! We had such an enjoyable stay and would definitely consider staying at Paws & Relax again!

It is a fairly short walk to the beach with a nice pool too. We lucked out with great weather overall. (Only comment for the house - there was not a water kettle (neither an electric stovetop or electric kettle) and I am a tea drinker (sure you can heat water on the stovetop in a sauce pan - but that is messy and not ideal to make tea)

We’ve experienced other OBX rentals and this place was hands down the best ever! Perfect size! Only one negative... The toaster doesn’t work too well... Should get a new one. Wicked close to the beach... easy access. Pool is awesome. Beach chairs and umbrella included. Quality washer and dryer. Our pups were at home here. Nicely fenced in areas.Many thanks.
