Located on a quiet neighborhood street, yet only a half mile from the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and Middleton Park, this lovely home welcomes up to two dogs per stay and is truly a stunning catch.

The bright and welcoming living room invites you to snuggle up on the sectional and stream the big game or a favorite movie on the large Smart TV. If you’d rather curl up in the armchair with a good book, a variety of lamps and shades on the windows allow you to adjust the lighting until it’s just right.

Just off the living room, a sturdy wooden dining table seats eight for meals or family game nights. An additional four barstools are available at the kitchen island just beyond the table.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve meals during your stay. Bright lighting, plenty of counterspace and a deep farmhouse sink make prepping fresh local produce or the catch of the day fast and easy.

When it’s time to retire for the evening, each bedroom offers a TV for personal entertainment, so there’s no need to fight over the remote. The master suite is furnished with a king bed and features an attached private bathroom with a step-in glass and tile shower stall. The master closet is set up with a small study nook at the back, with a comfortable office chair, lamp and desk perfect for stealing away to complete work or school responsibilities that you can’t leave behind at home. The second upper-floor bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and utilizes a full bathroom with a standard tub/shower combo and hall access.

At the end of the hall, the laundry closest at the top of the stairs provides a full-size washer and dryer for use during your stay, so there’s no need to haul wet swimsuits home.

Downstairs, the final two bedrooms are arranged off of a second living area, complete with a couch and additional large wall-mounted Smart TV. The first bedroom offers a king bed and is also furnished with a small work space providing a chair, desk and lamp. There is direct access to the final standard full bathroom, which is also accessible from the second living area. The final bedroom provides two twins beds.

The garage may also be accessed from the lower floor, where you’ll find a variety of beach chairs, beach carts and other equipment stored for your use.

Outside, the upper front deck is partially shaded by the surrounding trees. Listen to the oaks whisper in the wind as you gaze at Carolina blue skies from classic Polywood rockers or Adirondack chairs. The upper back deck offers both an open portion where you’ll find a gas grill for cooking out and a screened porch complete with an outdoor dining set seating eight and even a ceiling fan for your comfort.

The partially wooded backyard boasts a firepit with plenty of seating, and a dedicated sidewalk leads to the enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

When you’re ready to venture to the beach for a day of fun in the sun and sand, a brief two-minute drive brings you to the closest public beach access. At a distance of only a half mile, you may well choose to walk instead and use the provided beach carts to shuttle your beach gear.

In fact, you’re in walking distance of a number of local attractions, including the Middleton Park complex with two playgrounds, a free seasonal splash pad and regular outdoor concerts throughout much of the year.
