Just like at a hotel, where you provide your ID and security deposit at the front desk, our check-in process is just as simple—only online! We use a secure system, where you’ll receive a personalized rental agreement, ID verification, and a quick security hold (not a deposit). Once completed, your arrival instructions will be sent right to you.

Experience Columbus from the welcoming Merion Village neighborhood, a residential pocket filled with historic character just south of downtown. You’ll be close to the brick-lined streets and local favorites of German Village, including Schiller Park, the Book Loft, cozy coffee shops, bakeries, and popular restaurants.

The Brewery District, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and downtown Columbus are also within easy reach, making this a convenient home base for work, family visits, events, or a weekend exploring the city. After a busy day, return to a quieter neighborhood setting while staying close to the best of central Columbus.

Parking: Guests will have access to private parking located at the back of the building.

THE SPACE:

Living Room:
The living room features a large Smart TV preloaded with Netflix and other apps for your entertainment. The couch may or may not pull out, but we do have an air mattress in the linen closet should you need it! The thermostat can be found on the back wall of the living room for adjusting heating and cooling.

Kitchen:
Fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils for your stay. Please let us know if you need anything that you don’t see, and we will bring it to you!

Bedrooms:
There are two bedrooms. The first, smaller bedroom features a Queen-sized bed. The master bedroom includes a King-sized bed, a large closet, a smart TV, and a dedicated workspace.

Bathrooms:
The unit includes one full bathroom with extra hand towels, washcloths, and additional toilet paper under the sink. There is also a convenient half bath on the first floor.

Basement:
Accessible through the kitchen, the basement door will remain locked during your stay.

Outdoor Space:
This home boasts a small balcony at the front and a cozy patio accessed through the back door near the kitchen.

This home is one half of a duplex, and the other unit is also available as a furnished short-term rental. If your group is larger or you'd prefer separate spaces for two families or parties traveling together, both units can sometimes be booked together, giving you extra bedrooms and living space while staying just steps apart.Message us before booking to check availability and get both units held for your dates.

Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action asap.
Please respect our property. Please note the following house rule violations will result in fines:
• Smoking: $500
• Parties or events: $1,000
• Unapproved late check out: $50/hr
• The property has a maximum occupancy limit, and exceeding this number may result in penalties. Please ensure that your party stays within the allowed guest limit to avoid any additional charges.
• Damages - subject to the cost of the item for repair or replacement

Please note: All guests must be 21 years of age or older to book a stay with us.

Cancellation Policy:

For reservations booked directly or through VRBO (and other channels where payment is processed through our payment processor), cancellation refunds are limited to a maximum of 94% of the total amount originally paid. The remaining 6% represents non-refundable payment processing costs incurred at the time of booking and is retained regardless of the reason for cancellation. This applies to all refunds, whether full or partial.

This policy does not apply to Airbnb reservations, which are subject to Airbnb’s cancellation and refund policies.
