Gathering & Dining

The kitchen and dining area run together, with room for a full-size table, so a group eats in one sitting rather than in shifts. Everything you need to cook a full meal is here — pots, pans, bakeware, serving dishes and place settings. With the indoor fireplace in the living room and the fire pit out back, this is a house that holds a long evening well once the weather turns.



Guest Access:

The whole house is yours, including the pool, the backyard, the fire pit area and the game room.



Check-in is keyless and on your own schedule. The day before you arrive you will get a message with the code and directions.

In addition, many of the top attractions in the Dallas and Fort Worth Area are just a stone’s throw away, making DeSoto a great place to stay to experience the best of the Metroplex. Whether you're planning a family vacation or a getaway with friends, this spacious home provides the ideal setting to relax, unwind, and create lasting memories in the peaceful surroundings of DeSoto, Texas.



Getting Around:

DeSoto sits in the southwest corner of Dallas County, about fifteen miles from downtown Dallas. A car is the easiest way to get around.

• Pet-Friendly: House-trained pets are welcome with a fee of $150 per pet per stay, before fees and taxes. Register your pets and clean up after them, especially in the backyard.

• No Parties/Large Gatherings: Only registered guests are allowed. Contact us if you have any queries or need clarification before booking.

• Additional Fees: From the seventh guest onwards, a $39 fee per guest per night applies.

• Entertainment: Smart TVs with streaming apps are available. We'll sign out of your accounts if you forget to do so.

• No Indoor Smoking: A $500 fine applies for violations. Smoke outdoors and dispose of cigarette butts properly.

• Pool: Please note that the pool and kiddie pool, is professionally serviced twice a week during the summer months and once a week during the rest of the year.

As this is an outdoor pool, it’s normal for some leaves or debris to appear between cleanings. This does not indicate the pool is unclean—rest assured, all necessary chemicals are properly balanced, and the filtration systems are regularly maintained for your safety and comfort.

NOT HEATED POOL, NO HOT TUB

The pool technician accesses the area through the backyard gate.

• Security Cameras: For security, we have installed two cameras: one at the front door overlooking the yard, and another in front of the garage facing the cars. These cameras record 24/7. To respect your privacy, there are no cameras inside the house.

• House Rule Violations: Can result in reservation cancellation, no refunds, and loss of deposit.

• Pest Control: Pest control service is monthly. Contact us if you encounter bugs. You might encounter wildlife in the yard, and occasionally, outdoor insects may appear indoors. These bugs are not harmful, and we promptly remove them if notified.

• Wifi: High-speed wifi is available; no cable.



GAMING ROOM



We have two machines. Pac-Man and Mortal Kombat. Enjoy the retro style of the old school gamers and the first video game music with iconic characters.
