Baileyâs Cottages is a fourth-generation family run campground located in the rural countryside on Moira Lake. This is a housekeeping cabin with 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 1 daybed (linen and pillows not included); dining area with refrigerator, gas stove, microwave and furnace, utensils, dishes and pots and pans; buckets for carrying water from nearby well , deck, picnic table and fire pit. There is a comfort station (showers and flush toilets) nearby that is maintained daily
What is a "Housekeeping" Cottage?
If this is your first time staying in a housekeeping cottageâwelcome! Unlike a traditional hotel, a housekeeping cottage is a self-catering experience. This means that while we provide the beautiful space and the tools you need, guests are responsible for keeping the cottage tidy during their stay and leaving it "broom clean" upon departure. This tradition helps us keep our rates affordable and maintains that authentic "cottage" feeling for everyone.
At Baileyâs, we embrace the simple life! Our cottages offer a true, unplugged getaway with just the right touch of convenience:
Power & Comfort: Your cabin is equipped with electricity, so you can keep your devices charged and enjoy cozy lighting in the evenings.
The Bathhouse: Similar to a Provincial Park, our central washroom is a short, scenic walk away. It is fully equipped with hot water, private showers, and flush toilets.
Fresh Water: For cooking and dishes, a fresh-water well is located nearby. A quick stroll to the pump provides all the water youâll need for the cabin.
Itâs all part of the classic cottage traditionâslowing down and enjoying the Great Outdoors!

Campground is on the lake and adjacent to a century farm
You may see our dog Bo, an energetic and friendly GSP running around or swimming in the lake from time to time. Please advise if you have any concerns.
