The villa was built on the foundations of an old house in the traditional style, but to European standards. The two floors, totalling 105 sqm of living space, have underfloor heating and are habitable all year round. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed and a spacious bathroom with bath, shower screen, washbasin and WC. The second floor consists of a large living/dining room with fireplace, an open-plan kitchen, an additional shower room and a large loggia with far-reaching sea views. The villa has a basement with a large garage and a fully equipped laundry room and is situated directly above one of the restaurants in the village square and is ideal for nature lovers in need of relaxation as well as guests who enjoy hiking. The peace and quiet prevailing in the village is impressive. To the left, above the house, there is a sunny terrace garden with a sunbathing area. The two lower terraces are available to guests.
FACILITIES Living/dining room: fireplace, sitting area with armchairs, satellite TV with German programmes, round dining table, adjoining balcony with another large dining table and wicker armchairs. Kitchen: Electric cooker (4 plates) and oven, fridge with large freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, dining table (6 seats).Bathrooms: On the first floor with bathtub, shower screen, WC, washbasin, hairdryer.On the second floor with shower, bidet, WC, washbasin.Bedrooms: Each with a double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, shelves, mirror.
CLEANING Cleaning is done once a week with simultaneous change of bed linen and towels. Additional towels are available in a large cupboard. The rubbish is disposed of by the guests in the container located at the entrance to the village. Firewood can be provided for a fee. THE LOCATIONThe island of Thassos is located in the north of the Aegean Sea near the mainland, off the coast of the town of Kavala. From there it can be reached by car ferry in 75 min. by car ferry and 25 minutes by hydrofoil. Another option is the harbour town of Keramoti near the airport, approx. 40 km. from Kavala, which has an hourly ferry service. (crossing 35 min.)The starting point of Prinos comprises 5 settlements and a harbour. One of the settlements is the old Kazaviti or 'Megalos Prinos', whose early settlement history dates back to the Middle Ages, while the present building structure dates back to the mid-nineteenth century.The village is located inland, 5 or 7 km from the main town of Prinos and its beaches.For holiday guests, it makes sense to use a hire car, of which there is a wide range on the island.
