Are you kidding. The couch alone costs thousands and the dining table and chairs were custom neither of which are ment to be replaced like cheap furniture. Why would we refurbished the kitchen the appliances all work very will and again would be wasteful to replace just for a “look” cabinets are all wood and in perfect shape. Linens are all better quality draperies and window treatments were custom. As is the spread and headboard of the guest room. We do agree the carpet needs to be replaced. The television is only a year old and the twin adjustable beds are a big hit with everyone. We do agree the carport needs refreshed but we definitely thought you had a good time given the photos you sent with your feet up having a drink by the pool. You must live in a palace and should perhaps think of staying there for your next vacation that way you won’t be so disappointed and a host won’t be so surprised at the end of your 2 month stay.

Glad that you got to see all the wildlife as it is something we really enjoy! I encourage all our guests to carefully read the online booking description as we live in the house for several months at a time and keep it fully stocked. We also let people know to use what we have just replace it if used to completion.

YOU WILL NOT EVER BE ALLOWED BACK. We have actually changed our policy and will no longer accept more than 2 children as this first time it destroyed the house! The air conditioning was fixed within 10 hours we have an on call emergency service the magnet with the number is posted on the fridge. The sheets your children stained with their acne medicine. Your threat of leaving a bad review and saying there were bugs in the bed did not work I should have kept your entire deposit but only keep 200 for the actual damages: ruined binoculars, closet handled snapped off, bedroom door handle on the floor, nail polish or something on the dryer, gum on the pool deck. I personally had to come and clean as my cleaner would not do the job said her normal fee would only cover 6 hours and this was at least a 3 day job. Yes the pool water does evaporate and occassionally water needs to be added the pool.aervice company may ask you to do so or may ask you to shut the water off at a certain point. If that is not acceptable I will have someone come and put water in the pool but you will need to ask I never was told about your issue of putting water into the pool. If there is ever an issue I am a phone call like the dryer needed to be reset from a power outage and a phone call worked out that problem. Please dont be afraid to call and ask questions so that issues can he addressed. This is a family vacation home and we keep our things there you can feel free to move them out of your way just put them back when you depart.

Patty we are very sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I was desperately trying to accommodate all your needs even had additional cable channels added increasing the bill by $90 per month. We also did not charge you for the damages to the curtains and the wall. While the carpet is older and we hope to put in new flooring soon it has not been a problem for any other guests. I will pass your concerns for the cleaning onto the cleaners, and I apologized for them missing the coffee pod in the keurig. I did explain that this is a family home and that there would be things in the closets and the refrigerator, so the butter dish that bothered you so much was something you could have thrown out or put to the back of the refrigerator. Good luck on your next rental I would think something on the other coast of Florida may be more suited for you and your spouse. I hope you find a happy place someday.
