In Crystal Beach, golf carts are the primary way to get around! It’s the best way to cruise the neighborhood, head to the beach, or pop over to The Big Store. There are several local rental shops nearby if you don’t bring your own.

Beach Driving
One of the unique things about Bolivar Peninsula is that you can drive your vehicle directly onto the sand! Just be sure to pick up a Bolivar Beach Parking Sticker (available at most local stores) to enjoy miles of beach driving and easy access to your favorite sunbathing spot.

The Bolivar Ferry
If you’re looking to explore Galveston, the free Bolivar Ferry is just a short drive away. It’s a scenic, 20-minute ride where you can often spot dolphins jumping in the wake of the boat!

On-Site Parking
We provide plenty of free, private parking right at the house. Since the home is elevated, there is shaded parking available underneath the property—perfect for keeping your car cool in the Texas sun.

Since you are "Steps to the Beach," walking is always an option! The stroll to the shoreline is quick and easy, so you can go from the front door to the waves in just a few minutes.

The Essentials (Check-In & Safety)
For everyone’s peace of mind, all guests are required to verify their identity through Know Your Guest, provide a government-issued ID, and sign our rental agreement before arrival.

Quiet Hours
Please help us keep the neighborhood peaceful by keeping noise to a minimum after 10 PM. While we want you to have fun, parties and loud gatherings are not permitted.

No Smoking or Illegal Substances
To keep our home fresh for all guests, smoking and illegal substances are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

Pet Policy (Dogs Welcome!)
We’re happy to host up to 2 pre-approved dogs (non-aggressive breeds only, fee applies). We just ask that they stay leashed outside, stay off the furniture/bedding, and please—no cats!

Guest Count
Planning to bring an extra friend? All additional guests or pets must be approved in advance, and extra fees may apply.

Damage Protection
For a stress-free stay, you can choose between a refundable security deposit or a simple damage waiver when booking.
