StoryHaus Alaska is a thoughtfully designed retreat created for gathering, rest, and unforgettable shared moments. With layered spaces, warm materials, and intentional beauty throughout, the home invites guests to slow down and feel at ease. It’s well suited for families, retreats, creative getaways, and milestone weekends.

The Home & Sleeping Spaces
StoryHaus offers multiple zones that allow guests to gather together—or spread out comfortably.
Main House: King Hearth Suite with ensuite bath, two queen bedrooms (including a cozy, cloistered room), an enclosed library Murphy bed, and inviting gathering spaces anchored by the hearth.

Loft & Bunkhouse: Flexible sleeping for 10–12 guests, designed for shared memories, creativity, and play.

Hideaway Suite: A separate-entrance apartment with two queen bedrooms, a living room with full pull-out sofa and recliner, full kitchen, bath, and laundry—ideal for guests who want a quieter space just steps from the main house.

The Setting
From inside StoryHaus, meadow and peekaboo mountain views feel immediate and ever-changing. Summers bring long, light-filled days and mountain air; winter transforms the home into a warm evergreen retreat with soft lighting, fires at the hearth, and snowfall framed through great-room windows.
Multiple decks overlook the play yard, making it easy to relax while keeping an eye on outdoor activity. Secluded sitting areas throughout the property offer space for reading, conversation, or quiet pauses.

Explore Beyond the HAUS
Trail access and mountain views are just minutes away, with hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, and seasonal adventures nearby. Ocean harbors, Denali-view hikes, and the Matanuska Glacier are all within reach for a day trip.

StoryHaus is best suited for guests who value presence, beauty, and time together. Boutique-level details support both rest and joy, including feather duvets, linen bedding, softened lighting, and grounded materials throughout. A hidden playroom, removable slide, swing set with hammock, and trampoline offer fun for guests of all ages.

Looking Ahead
For summer 2026, StoryHaus is offered as accommodations only. Starting Fall 2026, we will debut options for micro-wedding and all-inclusive retreat venue.
