Port Franks is a quiet, peaceful village located just across the river from the beautiful southern edge of Pinery Provincial Park. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Guests have access to a private, shallow, kid-friendly beach exclusive to Port Franks cottage owners and renters, located just a 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from the cottage. The lively shops, restaurants, and beaches of Grand Bend are also just a short drive away.

Spend your days exploring the famous sand dunes and trails at Pinery Provincial Park, hunting for fossils at Rock Glen Falls Conservation Area, or touring nearby wineries and sampling their local products responsibly. From fishing charters and golf courses to boating, biking, and beach days, there is so much to do that this area will keep you coming back—because no amount of time spent here is ever enough.

Our newly renovated, private cottage is conveniently located near the beach, boat ramps, and marinas, making it easy to enjoy both quiet mornings and active afternoons. Whether you’re planning a family vacation or a relaxing weekend getaway, this is a place to slow down, explore, and make lasting memories.

House Rules & Important Information

Quiet Community
Port Franks is a peaceful residential community. This home is not suitable for parties or events.
Please respect our neighbors—no loud music, parties, or excessive noise at any time.
If you’re looking for a lively nightlife scene, nearby Grand Bend may be a better fit.

Occupancy & Sleeping Arrangements
Standard occupancy: 6 adults or 4 adults + 4 children (17 & under)
Maximum occupancy: 8 guests
Additional adults: $50 per adult, per night beyond 6 adults

Beds provided:
2 queen beds
2 single beds
The provided beds comfortably accommodate 6 guests.
Any additional guests must bring their own air mattress, bedding, and linens.

Early Check-In / Late Check-Out
May be available by request, subject to availability.
$25 per hour. Maximum $75 per day
Please ask in advance.

Garbage & Recycling

If your stay includes Wednesday, place bins at the curb
If your stay includes Thursday, return bins to the side of the house
All garbage must be taken out at check-out and placed in designated bins

Firewood & Fires

Fires are permitted only in designated fire areas
Please bring your own firewood
Do not collect wood from surrounding areas

Septic System

Flush toilet paper only — no wipes or other items
The septic system is inspected before and after each stay
Respect the Property

No outdoor shoes in main living areas (kitchen, dining, living room)
Please leave shoes in the foyer

Smoking & Vaping
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the house.

Wi-Fi Internet
Wi-Fi is not available from October 15 to April 30. Please plan accordingly.

Report any damage immediately; repair or replacement costs may apply

Check-Out Instructions

Before leaving, please:
Wash dishes and run the dishwasher (no need to unload)
Turn off all lights and appliances
Lock all windows and doors

Please leave the home as you found it. Thank you for helping us keep the cottage in great condition for everyone.
