Located just outside downtown Boone, you are an easy 11-minute drive from the center of it all. Explore Appalachian State University, local restaurants, shops, breweries, and year-round events with ease. Many of the area's most popular attractions are within 30 minutes. These include Appalachian Ski Mountain and Ice Skating Rink, Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park, Tweetsie Railroad, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and High Gravity Adventures Zip Line & Aerial Park. Sugar Mountain Resort and Beech Mountain Resort are both less than an hour away and offer year-round activities like skiing, mountain biking, and scenic lift rides.
