The basement features a large kitchen with work surfaces all around, making it ideal for buffets. It is fully equipped with:
• Electric cooker (90 cm wide) with 5 cooking zones and an oven (90 cm wide)
• Extractor hood (90 cm wide)
• Fridge
• Freezer
• Microwave
• Dishwasher
• Pans, cookware, baking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc.

If required, we can also provide professional catering equipment:
• 2 heated display cases
• Various chafing dishes (rechauds)
• Salad bar
• Popcorn machine

Adjacent to this is a large dining area with seating for 24 people. Good to know: one of the two games rooms is located right next to the dining area, so even groups with children can sit comfortably at the table for long periods of time.

The living room on the ground floor is furnished with two spacious lounge sofas and coffee tables.

Both sofas can also be used as luxurious sofa beds for two people, i.e. for a total of four people (box spring beds 180 x 200 with very high-quality mattresses).

Finally, there is also a dartboard for entertainment.

Holidays with a large(r) group are usually very cosy! Nevertheless, it can sometimes be nice to be able to retreat from a lively group on your own, with your child(ren) or even as a whole family. That's exactly what ‘The Quiet Harbour’ is for.

A beautiful, comfortable and, above all, quiet living room with a wonderful wall decoration with a ‘sea view’.

The room is furnished with a lovely large corner sofa with comfortable cushions that you can snuggle up on. For children, there is a special play area consisting of no fewer than 14 soft fabric building blocks. Here they can sit quietly with a book, but they can also use the fabric building blocks to build a hut and other creative constructions for themselves.

There is also a small dining table where children and adults can relax and colour in mandalas. We deliberately chose the pens and crayons in a palette of pastel shades to minimise distraction and restlessness caused by bright colours.

The toys provided were also a very conscious choice. Here, too, we were seduced by the soft pastel shades of ‘Little Dutch’ and opted for calm play materials that encourage children to concentrate fully on their own world and be creative.

The room also has a kitchen with a coffee machine, kettle, coffee and tea accessories and some crockery, which only needs to be placed in the dishwasher after use. For those who prefer a cold drink, there is also a fridge where everyone can chill their favourite drinks.

There is a smart TV with various channels and film programmes. There is also a tablet with a subscription that allows you to read many different online magazines for all age groups.

The spacious balcony at the rear can be accessed from the room. Here, too, we have tried to create a relaxed atmosphere. The balcony has two sun loungers and a cosy seating area for two people.

The room can be locked from the inside with a so-called toilet lock, so that you are not disturbed and can easily see from the outside when ‘The Quiet Harbour’ is already in use.

Right next to the back door is a large terrace measuring no less than 60 m².

Half of it is covered and the covered part is equipped with a large dining area for 24 people. This means you can sit outside even in colder or rainy weather, and you can even have a barbecue in winter!

The other half, the uncovered part, is furnished with a large lounge suite.

In addition, the following fun cooking options are available for outdoor use:
• Large barbecue
• Pizza oven

If required, we can also provide professional catering equipment for outdoor use:
• Gyros grill for 5 kg of meat
• Hamburger grill
• 2 large deep fryers; 2x8 litres and 2x12 litres
• Several stone grills
• Cotton candy machine
• Poffertjes plate (a real typical Dutch delicacy: mini pancakes)

▸ Cool off wonderfully...

Klein Holland Harz has a beautiful large outdoor pool measuring 5.60 x 3.50 metres (internal dimensions) with a depth of approx. 1.20 metres and a wonderful waterfall.

We try to keep the pool open every year from mid-May to mid-September. However, due to weather conditions in the Harz Mountains, this is not always possible. As long as or as soon as night frost is forecast, for example, the pumps and solar heating cannot be connected/remain connected and the pool is unfortunately no longer available.

The pool is heated by a solar system. On really nice days, the water temperature can reach up to 28 ℃.

A sand filter system with a salt electrolysis system is used as the disinfection system. We use electronic measuring devices that continuously take measurements to keep the water values as optimal as possible. In addition, we regularly check the water values manually with a second electronic measuring device.

For the little ones, we have an additional children's pool with a diameter of approx. 174 cm and a maximum depth of 15 cm.

The garden also offers various entertainment options, including:
• Trampoline (at ground level)
• Table tennis
• Giant chess game
• Climbing tower with swings, slides and various play elements
• Sandpit
• Watercourse
• Tree house

There are several picnic tables and barbecues where you can sit and eat in comfort.
