Cosy apartment complex with a community garden on a beautiful bay
The property is located on a small bay in Dymchurch in Kent, on England's south-easterly coast.
There are three fully furnished apartments, accommodating four to six people each, spread over three floors. Wireless internet access is available free of charge.
The beautiful, spacious garden offers plenty of space for all of our guests to relax.
Enjoy the gorgeous views from here all the way to the channel. Parking is available.
The town is located on the Romney Marsh, famous for sheep, churches and smuggler's stories. We highly recommend a trip on the historic railway that runs along the coast from Hythe to Dungeness.
Restaurants, cafes, the beach and supermarkets can be accessed on foot. Buses service coastal resorts. It is 27 km to Dover.
Seabreeze Top Apartment - Panoramic Views and a Sandy Beach Seabreeze Holiday Apartments offer self-catering accommodation for family holidays in a prime position on the sea front at Dymchurch, in the South East corner of Kent. The village of Dymchurch is a traditional holiday destination and is well-known for its miles of sandy beaches, specialist shops, pubs, restaurants, funfair and amusements. It is situated on the Romney Marsh, sometimes called the fifth quarter of the globe, and famous for its sheep, historic churches, and tales of smuggling. The world famous Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, with its fleet of historic steam and diesel locomotives, follows the coast from Hythe via Dymchurch and New Romney, to Dungeness, with its lighthouses and sea fishing. The towns of Rye, Folkestone and Dover are all within easy reach - and, while you're in the area, why not pop across to France for the day?
The large garden, with clothes line and private parking, is available for all residents.
This apartment is located on the second floor, accessible via an outdoor staircase, and accommodates up to four people. The living/dining room has a built in bar, a sofa bed, two armchairs, a coffee table, a 32" television with a DVD player and a dining table and four chairs. The separate kitchen unit is furnished with a stove, an oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a toaster and a coffee maker, a kettle and a washing machine. There is also an additional dining table with chairs. The two bedrooms are furnished with either a large double or two single beds and wardrobes. The bathroom was renovated in 2014 and offers a shower, a bathtub, a sink and a toilet. The apartment has gas central heating.
Dymchurch is an old historic village set in the centre of a lovely bay, seven miles wide, sheltered by a range of hills which commands a magnificent view of the English Channel and its shipping. This delightful setting is set in the South Eastern corner of Kent, known as the Garden of England. Dymchurch owes much of its popularity as a holiday destination to the many miles of firm golden sands, which are washed clean by every tide. At low tide the sea goes out for a considerable distance leaving a perfect playground for even the youngest visitor. The village has many amenities including many small shops and cafes, a small supermarket, a post office, a funfair, amusements, and several public houses. There are frequent buses up and down the coast road, and the one-third-scale steam and diesel locomotives of the famous Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, call at Dymchurch Station on their way from Hythe to Dungeness. For those people who are desirous of a more quiet and peaceful holiday, Dymchurch is a conÂvenient centre for exploring the historic Romney Marsh, especially for those who prefer to turn aside from the bustle of the modern age to the quiet lanes with their beauty, and thorn set dykes. For those who love the past this village has unending interest, where one can find the Land of the Normans, and the Romans in the many works that have been unearthed around Dymchurch. There is a kindliness and friendliness in this lovely corner of Kent. It is hoped that a stay at Seabreeze might attract many who might not otherwise have ventured to visit this lovely and unique Dymchurch.
There are various shops in the village, including a Tesco Express, which is open from 7am until 11pm. Linen: Bed linen is included in the price - please let us know how many beds you will need made up. Please bring your own towels. If this is a problem, for example you are travelling from overseas or with public transport, please let us know and we will arrange some towels for you. Dogs: Sorry - much as we love dogs, Seabreeze is a multi-occupancy site, and we have to consider all of our guests. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Amberley Cottage, next door, by arrangement. Other pets: Small caged animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs etc may be accepted for a small extra charge - please ask! A folding guest bed is available for use in the Top Apartment upon request. A child's cot and highchair are available on request.
