The Retreat Uvita is a a boutique, 4 unit tropical oasis in the heart of Bahía Ballena, just steps from adventure and relaxation alike. This spacious 1-bedroom apartment features one king bed, a fully equipped kitchenette - perfect for singles or couples. Located in the heart of Bahía Uvita, you’ll be just a short walk from the main entrance of Marino Ballena National Park, the Bitcoin Jungle Clubhouse, and cafés and restaurants. No 4x4 needed — everything is right at your fingertips.

The Retreat Uvita is a serene retreat hidden in lush gardens, featuring comfortable, well-appointed units with air conditioning, high-speed internet, and fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes. All guests have access to a refreshing shared pool, outdoor kitchen and BBQ area, poolside seating and umbrellas. Located in a quiet yet walkable part of town, you’ll be within easy strolling distance of Marino Ballena National Park, where the famous “Whale’s Tail” sandbar emerges at low tide, and just a short walk to the lively Bitcoin Jungle Clubhouse, local cafés, and restaurants.

Whether you’re here to explore Costa Rica’s stunning Pacific beaches, experience wildlife and jungle wonders, or simply unwind poolside with a fresh tropical drink, The Retreat Uvita offers a peaceful home base with all the comforts you need.

Guest have access to the beautiful pool area with poolside loungers, sun umbrellas, surrounded by lush tropical gardens with monkeys, birds and sloths! Guests also have access to the shared outdoor kitchen & BBQ area with seating, a grill and prep area that is ideal for meals, gatherings, or relaxing with a book.

Other things to note
There are 3 other units on the property that share the pool, outdoor cooking rancho with BBQ, sink, and lounge area, etc.

Baby Gear Rentals are available for a fee. Play pens, high chairs, stroller, car seats, bed rails and more.

Well behaved pets are welcome for a fee.

Please note: The road to The Retreat Uvita is located on a dirt road and at current time has some pot holes that fill with water. Please be cautious and drive slowly to avoid these potholes. These repairs by the municipality are supposed to be made within the months of January and February.
