This property consists in a large spacious room with all the functionalities of a small apartment. The outside balcony has a large roof to protect you from the adverse weather where we could observe birds while dining. It is located up a steep hill on the perimeter of town. It is surrounded by forest and offers a view of the ocean beyond. I would highly recommend a stay there.
We loved this place! We sat on that gorgeous front porch for hours enjoying the breeze and the wildlife. Scott the owner is so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend it.
Amazing property. This place is a jem. Spacious with well equipped kitchen.everything is spotless. In Beautiful view from the large balcony and lovely sunsets.
Close to lovely beaches and town with shopping and restaurants.
Very friendly and helpful host who supplied coolers and chairs for the beach.
We mould definitely book again.
Pros: -The space is nice, great to have laundry access. One of the hosts was responsive when we reached out with maintenance issues.Cons: -The shower backed up and wouldnât drain for an hour. The host said heâs never had this problem before, but we saw a review on another site with a complaint about their shower drainage. If you stay here, the drainage issue seems potentially related to running the washer at the same time, although water pools a bit even without that.âšâš-There was an ant problem in the kitchen (and some ants in the bed)-The hosts had gardeners using leaf blowers directly outside of where we were sleeping from 7:30AM to at least 10:30AM one dayâšâš-I am immunocompromised and asked one of the hosts if she could not go inside the property when we checked in. She said sure and that I could just read the instructions inside. Shortly after, I asked if we could have spare towels, and she started to go inside. I reminded her of my request and pleaded with her to not enter, but she said âdonât worryâ and entered anyway. -She also told us we donât need to worry about mosquitoes, but we then got extremely bitten up by them.-The hosts say you donât need four-wheel drive to get to the property, but you definitely do.All in all, this place has potential to be a great spot if there was generally more consideration towards guests' experiences. I wouldnât stay here again since it kind of ruined our time in Uvita, but that may not be the case for everyone.
This property was Perfect!! Our host, Scott was in communication with us throughout our travels to get us there (we were traveling from Pinilla to Uvita - Long Drive)It had a Washer and Dryer which we so needed after a week on the road. A beautiful bathroom and King-size bed. Full kitchen (we didnt need but was really nice) view of the sea and the BEST advise on where to go for breakfast, dinner, tours, beaches etc...LOVED this place!! THANK YOU SCOTT!! (And Luna)
Gerne wieder.
